Wow...I expected to see a lot more comments about the map than this

No comments on the look of the terrain:  I mean did you see that awesome looking spiky spine looking thing?

Did you notice the newly opened areas in old Tyria:  Southern Maguma Jungle and Southwest Shiverpeaks (just to the left of Drok's)

No speculation on where the Charr might be, or if we will get to follow the path that Gwen took in fleeing from ascalon to start out the game?

Ohes wells...I finally got my pre-order pack I had ordered from GameStop so I will be seeing those of you who got one as well on Aug. 31.  I think I will call that day "G Day"...the official countdown is here...30 more days.

ok, for one guys, that is only a tiny amount of the map, especially as you have well over 18+ dungeons aswell, that all end with big boss battles that may be on par with Glint

Come on Lone, I expected more out of you on this...

How big is Grenths Footprint and Deldimor War Camp...and how big is Sorrows Furnace?  Dungeons by their very nature are underground and not going to be seen as explorable on the "M" map.  However once inside these Dungeons, it will stay explored unlike other underground areas in the game.

They may have added another zone or two, but I highly doubt it is going to be much bigger that what is shown.  Anyways, I hope you are right though, more areas equal more stuff to kill and more phat lewt to sell .

heh, if you were in the Q&A with Martin Kerstein tonight on the show you would have found out more, however, until I post the IRC chat 2moro, I can't tell what i know

This is good, but you can just get on GW and check your Tyria map. But this is helpfu too. Imagine what it would be like, seeing a green part of Ascalon since Pre-Sear. That's going to be pretty exciting too, having Charr as allies. The dungeons will be pretty awesome too, but the only downside is that we can only play other races when Guild Wars 2 comes out. August 31st isn't that far away if you don't think about it.

But what's one of the coolest things is the return of Gwen. Haven't seen her since Pre too. Which will be pretty exciting. No new proffessions though, but more skills, armors, heroes, etc. It's something worth the wait I'm betting.

    Meh, I'm sounding nerdy.

What about the depths of the shiverpeaks, that's where the Asura are supposed to be, right?

    Looks great!  Thanks for sharing.

I'm trying to finish Prophecies before the end of the month.  August 31'st can't come soon enough.

If you look closely I think you can see lots of 'dungeon' spots - places where zone-ins lead into unexplored map... like that huge mountain.  I hope there are lots of dungeons, GW needs more good dungeon crawls!

if you don't get GW:EN you can't link to GW2, so why miss this and have nothing new to play for another 18 months/2 years?  foolish mortal

Theres alot of portals on the map that go off into nowhere. Some obviously lead into outpost but others you can't tell. I'm guessing toughs ones go into one of the 18 dungeons they've been talking about. Which is cool, haven't done a dungeon run in while. :P

And do you recon you could map out your upcoming route using this map...nah its could  fork out like in nightfall and its too big you don't know where you might come out (dungeon wise).
