I'm trying to find the official LOTRO web site, but all I seem to be able to find is this:

Judging by the amateur design, 1990's buttons and out of date FAQ's, I'm hoping this is a fan site and not the real thing. I'm not trying to troll, I'm just seriously having a hard time believing there's not a main site I'm missing somewhere. Aside from the unprofessional design, it still has stuff like this in the FAQ:
Closed Beta is currently underway! You can apply to the Beta Program at http://lotro.turbine.com/betasignup. Pre-order customers may participate in the Open Beta beginning March 30, 2007. Our Open Beta Program begins for the general public on April 6, 2007.

how in the heck did you manage to pull up a pre release FAQ ?

As fas as I can tell, it's the only FAQ on the site. Doesn't look like it's been updated since beta.
Not really that big of a deal I guess, as I'll be playing the game, not the web site. I was just expecting a site that was a little more professional from a game of this caliber. This site looks like something my kid brother would build.
At least the game looks good.
