To get a closed beta account, you must send the admin on the AoA forums the links to Transformers and Gundamn websites. My thought on this is so that Snail games can spam these websites with their game to make cash from their item mall when the game goes live. I was thinking about playing in wait for a good pay to play MMO to come out when these thoughts came to mind.
#1. Item Mall, Lol
#2. Gold Farmers/Bots, no doubt they will be infesting the game.
#3. Crap Community, like in (ALL) free MMO's. P2P has bad people but not even close to free to play.
#4. Crap GM help and Crap suport help.
#5. Insane grind.
If you have played other free MMO's you know what im talking about. I guess ill reactivate a pay to play.

I would like to point out that robots using swords makes about as much sense as a machine gun blowing up a tank (Civ II in-joke).
Sorry Op, your really setting me off on this one. Transformers sites etc? Not really, I just got a beta account for my brother and me and said that we wanted to play together and in 3 days i got one.
Do you have to be so Insidious? CRAP community? With Low Key Ratings a game attracts BASE fans, thats choose to play it because they want to play it, not because it has 8 million subscribers.
CRAP GM and Support? Your Biased as hell! The GM support and moderators have helped a great deal with beta with some events here and there and they're probably one of the most helpful for a small, low-key game that i know, not to mention that since its a chinese game we've got a few dev's that are working hard.
I don't believe that its going to have an INSANE grind, because it hasn't even been decided that there will be a LEVEL CAP, do some ________ homework.
Getting to level 15 in this game has HARDLY been a Grind, there are quests that have a grind, but with the EXP events and so on the grind has not been horrible and it has been fun to upgrade my guy, i don't feel a need to get this equipment because its the best and so on. It hasn't been hard.
Please, by all means, go to your EQ or whatever, if your going to RANT SPARE THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO TRY A **DIFFERENT** Game. HOLY !@#$%
Why are people so Rude, if you have something bad to say, say it, but say it nicely FFS, you come off as a rude and insolent child (or someone who overanalyzes).
Your whole post is contemptuous and this is why i hardly play big MMO's anymore, there are some nice people and there are some overly rude and utterly insatiably bitchy people.
While i dont agree with the somewhat Mean spiritedness of this post i do have to say that most small-f2p games i have played have atrociously rude comunitys and gold/item farmers that completly destroy any semblance of a balanced in game economy but like with all the new games coming out im gonna give this one a try

Hmm yes this relpy definately confirms what a good attitude and how nice the playerbase will probably be. On the whole though I have to aggree with the OP that every game I have ever seen come out of Asia has been a grind fest. Some have made efforts to stop the gold farming but most dont. On the other points of course I have no idea and no desire to try the game out myself. But if your into that kind of game more power to you.
Yeah, well, Im just looking to play something fun and different. There is though daily double EXP and things you can take for example to ease the grind, which is intermediate because you get a huge morale bonus from equipping like when you get the left and right missle launchers versus the particle guns and so on.
Well for those who assume that F2p games have all the negative aspects like gold/ item farming and all that most I have played had a great community I haven't tried this yet i got my account and I do wish to try this out. but i agree with Gst don't judge a game till you actually play it. And if you play it and you don't like it tough don't try to ruin the game by Blaming it.

I was playing for two days, got to level 15, then i found some higher level players in the newbie district from "DA": i think a good corp at later, just two of them, but when i asked questions they kindly replied and i saved a good bit of time looking for answers on the forums.
As far as the site goes, I think i'll check it again (AOAUS.com) a week before the 2nd beta weekend on the 8th since that would give ample time to change the site or better correct some of the english on the site (which may be why the site is down), the translations of explanations are pretty basic and lack pictures, perhaps thats why its down.
The Grind isn't horrible, but it depends on your armor and if you realize that you can get daily double exp and so on
But what do i know lvl 15 right 
.
