Whens Open Beta???

When is the open beta going to hit....i didnt sign for closed...missed it but they said open beta will start later on....but when!!

    They havent said. Most likely it will be 30 days before the game going retail. So id expect open beta in either august or september

    Well.....I heard some where with some betas they have Phase 4 as an open beta and 5 as the fin al open and then they close it ands ship it......

    IDK if thats tru but maybe they do that with some games with there beta phases...idk.......so don't quote me on anyhting....

    well it looks like another month then. HEHEHEH form all the nformation stated and that 3 months since the beta started and not into 3 phase. thows are where my calculations come from. HEHEHEH..

    Open beta is not going to come for atleast 2-3 more months.

    keep in mind, closed beta is where they do all the real testing like fixing bugs and things of the sort.  with the open beta, most if not all the imediat bugs will be fixed and people, and blizzard wont really be worring about that.  the main thing that the open beta will do is make sure that their back bone (the servers and equipment and programming) will be able to support lots, and i mean lots of people getting on their servers at a time.  i can almost gurantee that when the open beta launches, there will be some kind of server crash or programming issue because there are lots of people trying to get on and play hte game all at once.

    its hard to say though, but based on what people from the closed beta have to say, i think that its going to be a real great game.  we shall wait and find out.

    The open beta for WOW is really only intended to act as a stress test for the servers and last chance to catch any bugs, so I would be surprised if it lasted for more then 2 weeks or so...  Running an open beta with probably around 400000 non-paying beta testers for any length of time would be pretty expensive I would think.  I'm hoping it will start some time in August though.  I really wanna get my hands on this game soon!

    sorry but I believe that the open beta will be since between November or December ,beacouse they want to take out the game at the end of the 2004 and the beta didn't surely last but of 2-3 weeks

    I fear that blizzard might be behind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? this fear travels with me through ALL blizzard games and most of the time they dont make the deadline date, wait, this is about OB.

    yes the open beta probably start between october or november...
    blizzard may release WoW on 12/07/2004..

    Thats correct. There was a sticky post on the general forums, at the battlenet forums, stating they hope to release it by the end of 2004. The sticky post had been removed, perhaps because of the spamming, or maybe that release date is being revised ? who knows :P

    Open beta is rumored to start around September.  I just got into Phase 3 so I'm set for a while, well at least addicted image

    I'd expect Open Beta in about 2 months. Keep in mind that an open beta is mainly a stress test to check how all their equipment can handle masses of people trying to play at the same time, so don't expect it to last more than a month before the retail hits shelves.
