WoWs Death Knight

I read somewhere that the Death Knight in WoW will have multiple pets. Is this a response to the necromancer who can summon multiple pets as shown in the E3 Demo?

    No.

Multiple >  Single.    Even Blizzard can figure that out.     I doubt one thing has anything to do with the other.  AoC isn't WoW.  WoW isn't AoC.

What are the chanced this would be the last AoC = WoW = War = AoC thread.  It's getting old.

Speaking of DAoC, in the video with the Death Knight, when he was summoning his pets, it reminded me of a Theurgist from DAoC. It looks like his pets will do the same type of thing. (You summon them and they immediately go to fight their target.)

Its been said you can interdependantly control pets in AoC, like you could send some to attack and some to defend you.

    DAoC had siege weapons too.

    Hardly anything new there either.

Yeah i thought i heard somthing like that. I just never played DAoC because thats when i was in love with everquest and nothing was pulling me away from it.

Daoc was (and is atm) the unchallenged king of pet classes and siege weaponry, as well as a forerunner to factional pvp play. Theurgists, Cabalists, Necros, Animists (we all loved to hate them back in the day), Enchanters, Spiritmasters, and Bonedancers. This is sans charmer classes. 7 pet classes!

i'm sorry but HOW THE HELL DID A DEATHKNIGHT POST END UP HERE????

and no it was not a response to AoC.  Blizz has had WoW planned out from the beginning.  they were always thinking of adding Deathknight and necromancer they just diddnt think it would fit in the first release.

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

I think it would be hilarious if Blizzard ended up showing its siege combat to the public before AoC did.

Won't happen but it would definately start me rofling.

Those were the ones with the 'fire-and-forget' elementals weren't they?  Man DAoC was so much fun.  That game had incredible spells - one of my favorite things about it.  Games these days have crappy spell effects.  EQ2 is the only game that has decent spell effects, and they're not terribly great.

I used to love playing a druid in Hibernia or a cleric in Albion.  The oak leaves falling around you when you buff or the angel wings floating down to your back.

    I miss you DAoC!
