Why the hell horde and alliance fighting?

in the end of wcIII and the frozen throne, weren't the horde, alliance, NE, and tauren all living peacefully?
what set off the fued again, an ill thrown knife, a scandal, humiliation, a bad hangover, etc.
if you have any answers (definate or speculative) plz post it on here

if you play the WC D&D you would know, what happened was that in teh nightelf land there was a HUGE gold mine which the nightelf left alone, but when the orcs and humans found the place, GREED took over the hearts of the beast and man. there A HUGE battle is fought with no end in sight for most likely the biggest goldmine of azeroth. and theres more to it. aka some humans still hate teh horde and the horde still hate the alliance.

i have to agree with this the most, but the other post is probibly very true too (i dont know, i have never played the game). but as far as makeing and online game like this work right, you have to have to sides on a pvpv server, or there is nothing to pvp about.
also take into mind, that WoW starts 4 years after wc3, as to the opening plot line on the blizzard page for WoW. i think it says something about new conflicts being awaikend and things like that.

For Storyline purposes...
WoW takes place 4 years after WC3:TFT... the Horde and Alliance aren't in open war with each other (you don't see generals marsheling their armies around attacking each other) but they do hate each other and consider themselves enemies. They'll attack one another if they enter their own lands and such but you won't be seeing huge sieges unless there's a world event that causes that to happen (a world even like that could be triggered if a player kills an important npc deep within a capital city but it's not in the game yet).
If you have ever played the original sieries of warcraft.Well the first did not have all these races. In the first the Orcs and the humans were mortal enemies. Now they have more races. In Warcraft 3 the human realy did not like the elves but they were both against the orcs and undead. so now when they brought Warcraft to a MMORPG version they decided to make more races and pared them up to the ones they hate. SO elves,humans,dwarfs,and gnomes all hate the horde which are the orcs,undead,trolls,and taaurens. And blizzard also keept the tradition they had with Online games which was PvP which means player vs. player. But they made the options open rather you would play only other players you would go on a PvP server or if you want you can go on a PvE.

I don't know too much but this is what I have heard:
In Warcraft 3, the war was settled and now the two factions have made peace. This doesn't mean that everyone agrees with this. So, in World of Warcraft, the two factions are now walking the fine line between War and Peace. This means that some people feel as if their faction should be fighting the opposite because they just plain don't like them thus creating minor battles. But war has never been declared offcially.
If you get up one more time than you fall down, you will make it through.
