Good mmo

ive been playing every single mmo out there and till now i havent found one worth playing a long time. wow and ever2 are fun and all but why would u pay like 300+$'s just to play it for 1 year  does anyone know a  great mmo thats fun and doesnt cost 15$ a month? and has alot of people playing it??

    Guild Wars if you liked WoW and EQ2. it's b2p, though.

    Get someone to refer you to the free trial of Lord of the Rings. You get the founders monthly price of 9.99 a month if you sub. The gameplay is about the same as WoW so you should feel right at home.

     

    OR

    You could go with something like Anarchy online which is basically free for the base game and its better then most MMOs out there (graphics are pretty aged but its about gameplay right?). Guild Wars is free to play and one of the better MMO's.....

    You ever think about doing the free trials before you sub so it cost you zero dollars to see if you like it? Just about every game has one except for a few.

    You want old school, Asheron's Call is my favorite. There is a free trial to that also.

    You really didn't give us much info to work with in what kind of game you like, just that you want one worth the monthly sub....lol....thats the real trick now, isn't it?

    I'm gonna have to say myth of war because its stable and within a huge population of players with fourms and everything.

    As much as it's having a little teething problems at the moment, I would reccomend EvE-Online. True, it has a steep learning curve but it's a game that you can play for years (at least I could). With the upcoming release of a new graphics and sound engine the whines people are complaining about will be eradicated not that you notice them much anyway (well I don't). Very good game with so much depth it's unreal.

    Also note there aren't screaming pre-pubescent kids on there like other games *cough*WoW*cough*. If you pay by GTCs rather than DD then it comes to about $12 a month if you buy 3 at a time (90days).
