Any Suggestions on MMO's to play

I have kind of hit a dead point in MMO's where I am just lost on what to do.  I dont know... just with many games it is the same ole song and dance anymore.  I am not ripping on any games at all, and we all have different  opinions on everything but, I am just bored out of my mind anymore.  

I have played many MMO's from even my earliest game called Xenimus to Daoc, Ragnarok and Rubies of Eventide to Horizons and then WOW.  I have played City of Heroes and tried EQ, but it just seems to be all the same...

Of course, I have thought about going back to Xenimus but no one plays anymore due to good reasons, and DAOC is awesome but, I liked the Old style when it first was released, and I dont really care for all the new stuff.  Ragnarok is awesome and I could play this but, I dunno...Hell, I will prolly end up playing this for some time.  The others are either been dead for awhile (unfortunately Horizons) and/or getting really boring and just tedius (WOW). 

 

I was thinking about trying to play Vanguard and actually awaiting a pass or something....*shrugs* might be fun....I try to play the game before I make any comments on them or otherwise judgements. 

 

Any suggestions on what to play?

    I have the same trouble. Been playing CoH/V but that just is not a deep enough game. Resubbed to EQ2 and that would be perfect if only people grouped in low-mid levels.  Vanguard is dead as far as I can tell. Maybe that will be viable after the server merge (if that ever happens)

     

    I would love some ideas for games to play myself.

    Yeah,  I cant get into COH/V .... just I donno... *shrugs* I like the hero/vilian themes but cant do it.  I tried logging several times, got bored and logged. 

     

    I am currently downloading Xenimus because I just dont have anything else to do right now and its bothering the hell out of me.  I guess since the owner still has this game going, and with a new server that I would just go on there for awhile until I see something that I feel I would enjoy playing. 

     

    Even tried to play Saga of Ryzom but...it was a bit too odd for me...

     

    Hopefully, game dev's can create a third gen of games or even another title like DAOC that keeps me busy for several more years hehe

    I have been playing Xenimus this past month thinking that it will be okay.  It was for that month but, now I dont know if I can continue onward....

     

    I don't know if the migration of the servers on Vanguard did much? I have not been able to follow it as closely as I would have liked.....Otherwise, I am still really stuck on what there is to play.....any suggestions?

    Guild Wars is always a good option since it has no monthly fee.I personally don't like the totally instanced part of it, but that's just me. It is a very polished and beautiful game. Of course now they have announced GW 2 that will have more of a persistant world, so I guess I'm not the only one who feels that way.

    Many Games have free trials. Eve has a 14 day one advertised here. It is a great game, I just don't like the devs anymore :(

    I just downloaded 2 moons last night. It's um well, you know. The same old thing again from what I can tell.

    I'm downloading the pretrial for Tabula Raza right now from file planet. I'm in the same boat as you and a lot of people here. Looking for something new. TR is supposed to be that, we will see :)
