Someone who enjoys WOW (or any game made by blizz)

Hey I love WOW, been playing since Open beta, I am more a grind and quest sort of casual player. I am older in my 30's and can only really play for like 10 hours (give or take a few) per week. I am not really hardcore at all and enjoyed leveling to 70 so far (took my time doing it and right now just focused on getting my flyingmount and exploring the skies for quests). Anyway I love Wow's style and gameplay and will continue playing (I also play Guild Wars from time to time nice game to play for a change every now and then) but would like to play another MMO alongside WOW from time to time (besides Guild Wars). Does anyone know of anything similiar in style and gameplay as WOW, (I tried dungeon runners but could not get into it at all).

Thanks

Well grind games are the only ones we have in excess. If you like PvP then you'll be able to find way better games in terms of PvP concept and evolution. It's really up to you, but two games with a "decent amount of" grind are Final Fantasy XI and Lineage 2. I'd recommend you Dark Age of Camelot, because IMO it's one of the best 3D MMOs around, but it's really all about pvp. SInce they implemented instanced-leveling it's been really easy to get at level cap, actually it takes less than 4~6 days if you play a lot.

    Ultima Online 98~04
    Dark Age of Camelot 03~07
    Final Fantasy XI 04~06
    Guild Wars 05~08
    World of Warcraft 04~05

    Lotro.

you should be right at hime in there. I tried it and I found it to be a quite good game, very immersive world indeed. tHere is a controversial form of pvp there only, nothing of the wow's pvp, so if that is the part you like the most, though luck there.

Eq2, in less measure than Lotro, you will find much to like here too. If you can stand the graphics.

Zaxxon is right if you haven't tried Diablo 2 you should try it out. It's free online play and even after all this time it's still a nice online game to have.

Diablo 2 is not a mmorpg but the online game is a server that stores your character and has a lobby chat system with a list of all games the acctual game is 8 players who usually group up right away.

I dont know about other mmorpgs you just have to try all the trials and see what one you like.
