Best PVE Game?

I hate to admit it but I was wondering maybe this is the best PVE game after all. sure, I think I've seen much better quests in other games I cant lie.
but my point- at least CoX rewards u guys with the loot 100% if any at all. this the only game where PVE'ers dont fight over epic world bosses.
this game would be the best if instances could be cut back for sure. still good PVE game. the PVP kinda messed up plz dont ask me why about that try it yourself! if you like the PVE you might really dig it.
used to back in the day yer guild could help ya level bigtime too

Most definitely the best PvE game out there; at least as far as GROUPING and SOLOING are concerned.
I would add...best solo experience(PvE) would be CoV, best grouping experience would be CoH.
Of course, past nerf may make a player lean in preference toward 1 side or the other.
If the devs wouldn't have stack nerfs, upon nerf, upon nerf...I think this would be #2 MMO in NA in subscribtions now...but the nerfs have a heavy tool...still, the game is doing quite well!

I don't know that I'd say it's the best. But it does have a lot of very, very nice features that more MMOs need to flat out copy.
I absolutely love that missions/instances scale to the number of people in your group. And the sidekick system is a very nice way to let you group with friends regardless of level. The one drawback COH has is how simple the combat is.
This is the only mmo I keep coming back to I agree that the PvE in my experience is the best but there are many mmo's I have not tried so all I offer is a opinion not a fact. With regards to simple combat a great feature cox offers is to change your dificulty settings instantly and if you have ever soloed on relentless......its not so simple.

well i consider myself a 'dedicated PVPEr' - one who lives for constant conflict. well CoX has the PVP zones.
plus i trolled these forums since day #1 my account was created lol. I was so full of anger about the PVP.... but that is another story- not one worth bringing up.
I still miss the game yo. had fun, simple times. great friends that i miss. I now realize what the CoX devs were trying to do. they was trying not to make the game a loot whore fest. it still isnt.
they made the xp chaarcter progression a little steep but still a drop in the bucket compared to many other games over the longhaul
I have realized the things i hated the game for was really generic you know. like- I realized i hate classes lol. but the way they handled it was at least pretty interesting...
wish it had a lvl 50 FFA zone. I am thinking maybe id come back at least a month for that. as silly as it may sound. let heroes and villains band together for an all out war in that zone. but guess they are focusing on their PVE crowd. I guess I cant blame them

true, true i have not played every game out there either. I guess i was trying to say this game has something special about it. really makes ya get attached to your avatar more than any other game. The bio you give it, the citizens walking by screaming 'good job for beating down that villain!', the sweet avatar designs, and the simplicity of it all. the grouping was nice. i miss that aspect.
i miss the travel powers bigtime.
bah cant bleieve i whined so damn much about the hami raids lol. now i feel so silly oh well we must all grow up right.
im thinking i might have to resub at least for one month. take my old brute for a spin. will freak the heroes out

Arguably the best combat system going as well -- the dynamics of grouping make it easy to plug in just about any player and still see synergies develop (i.e. 1 + 1 > 2) which is probably the most amazing feat.
I hate any RPG PVP. It almost always comes down to pure stats, commitment to grind stuff for things, and wealth, no matter ho much people speak of "talent".
Therefor:
I hate PvP. I love CoX.
Edit: If anything, CoX has the most talent skill driven combat, since it has no Auto-attack. I like it. No AFK fighting.

I had to crack back on this tool who was bashing CoX on these message boards. It was funny because this guy clearly hadnt a clue about CoX spreading his disinformation. And then a few CoX players came to its defense, myself included. Needless to say we have the best gamer community too, at least imo....
