Hey guys ive got a question, im currently a lvl 13 champion and i was wondering if there are any instances like in WoW with the bosses and stuff. Thanks for your input.

Yes, there are instances with bosses. The Great Barrows is around low 20s and you'll really enjoy that instances.
Actually, it's not much like WoW in that area. There are instances where the main story line takes you, but they are done for the story, not for gear. You don't get any uber drops or anything like that from those instances and once you do them once, you are through with them. However, some people do decide to help others get through those instances and go to a reflecting pool, so they can repeat it. The instances will have some elites in there and usually a boss fight, but it isn't like WoW at all in that area. It is all about continuing the story.

oh i see, so end game raids are like that too?
I don't know much about the raid at the end, but as far as I know, there is one raid right now. The raid isn't like WoW's raids though. You don't grind them for gear or anything. Not sure what the use of it is really, since I haven't done it and haven't heard much about it.

for me this concept of doing things for the story and not for gear might take some getting used to. in WoW,,ZZZzzzzZ,,,tired of seeing that yet? lol
in WoW there were RP servers and PVP servers, of course i am not really into RP'ing so i was hardcore PVP server, with a crap ton of instance grinding.
gear was a sort of way to define yourself and your guild. i dont know, though i think in time end game content and alot more armor/weapon content will be added which i think will give people within the game more room to make more of a personage within their server with their characters.
though this is from a person who has yet to actually play lotro, still waiting for my new super computer to arrive lolzorz

The instances at 50 are really well done if you ask me. Barad Guluran is a great instance with the hardest fight in the game currently and it's a blast. Carn Dum is really good too. 3 new instances for 50s in the next week or two, whenever the patch is. Just thought I'd clear that up.
