Anyone heard of that Madeleine McCann thing?

Family from the UK were in holiday in Portugal and their kids were asleep during the night. The two parents said they went out while their children were asleep with friends nearby in the resort and took it in turns to check up on the kids. One of the kids "Madeleine McCann" was abducted by someone and now noone can find where she is. Alot of the press in Portugal are now blaming the parents and saying they have something to do with it and i think thats totally out of order. Why would her own mum and dad do this to their daughter? Also just because they wern't in the room with their children does that make it right for someone to jsut come take someone elses children? no........... They were nearby and did checkup on their kids so it's not like they left them all alone while they went out clubbing or anything all night.
Anyways it's all over the news atm and just wondering... Do you think she'll ever be found?

Hadn't heard about it until you posted this. I assume everyone involved is scrambling to not be the one blamed, if what you said about the accusations is true. It's possible the parents did it, the old Munchhosen (I can't spell it) Syndrome, but unlikely. The important thing now is not finding blame, but figuring out just what happened as quickly as possible.
She's been missing for a while now, I doubt she'll be found.

the sad truth of the matter is that she is most likely dead what tends to happen in cases like this is the child is taken raped for a few hours sometimes days then killed only on rare occasions do pedophiles keep them alive and then sadly the child is then raped many times for years on end and I for one blame her parents 100% I do wish se would found safe and well but sadly prolly not going to happen

I dunno how you can blame the parents because they were at a hotel type thing and left their kids asleep in the room. You don't really expect your kids to go missing in a hotel tbh lol and i remember lots of times as a child where i stayed in my room alone asleep. Infact as a child i always wanted my own room anyways and didn't want to be with my parents.
The blame is on the person who took her obviously.
yes true the person to blame is really the one that took her but i can say this i have 2 kids and i have never left them alone in a hotel room nor would i ever even think about it my boys are 8 and 5 i have left them home alone for 5 mins when they are asleep in bed but i have a huge dog that would never let anyone in the house without me being there so i know they are safe not even by best friend would risk coming in my house without me and jake (my dog) loves him.
