Mythos Invite: An Ode

It was a night...dark and dreary,
When I set forth with my query,
To somehow...someway...try to procure,
An invite to this wondrous game of lore.
Such an amazing world of wonder to behold,
Only a fraction of which was foretold,
Yet left me yearning...forever yearning for a key.
Would anyone in this wondrous land hear my plea??
Though I feared...nearly forelorn...
As the dawn neared...and another day be born...
That my humble request would go unheard,
I hoped beyond hope for the good word.
So on this dark and dreary night,
Please...if you listen...hear my plight,
Fill my darkness with a ray of light,
And send me a Mythos invite !
