Swimming?...

in World of Warcraft
Does anyone know if WoW will have swimming? Can you walk up to a Lake or Ocean, walk into the water, and fully swim underwater? Everquest does this the best from any MMO i've seen... Any info would be aprreciated

    Yes you can swim underwater in WOW.  Obviously since you have to hold your breath you can only stay under water so long, but druids have a animal form, sorta looks like a seal, that that they can turn into.  Should be pretty cool whatever class you play as though!

    Warlocks also have "Demon Breath" which allows them to breathe underwater, and they can also cast it on other players :)

    The game also offeres under water quests, so you can complete treaure hunts from sunken ships or even go into on the the underwater caves to the larger dungons.

    Of course you can go swimming in WoW and also undead dont have to breath so they can stay under water as long as they want.image

    this is something that i would like to see more of.  in eq, they do have underwater dungeons, but there something that was never really taken advantage of.  in the begining they were really hot, but they fell off the deepend really quick.  i heard rumor of one of them even being closed because it lost interest.

    underwater stuff does have the potential to be very cool, it has lots of unique things in it that the land doesnt.  if they do emplement this kind of thing, everyone needs to take advantage of it.

    i think this is the first MMORPG with good swimming effects. You can actualy hear what it actualy sounds like under water.

    Yes you are allowed to swim both on top and under water. Druids and shamans also have spells to keep u from runnign out of breath while under water. Wouldnt that b cool if the added diving and cannonballs while jumping in the water..image
