im seriously all up on the idea of being a warlock, mainly because of the chance to blaance between your summons! it'd be great to do that, and having all those types of summons, including a trash talking imp! it just soudns exciting.

I'll have to say Shaman. They have a very diverse set of skills, from offensive ranged attacks to offensive/defensive totems, buffs, not to mention healing capabilities. A very well rounded character indeed, that makes for many possibilities when rping

I always play a front line tank with some offensive or defensive spells. In DAoC I played a thane, totally loved that class. Front line tank with great pulling spells. Made me quite useful in groups and id never be bored. Not 100% sure what ill play in WoW, but so far im heavily leaning towards a Paladin as it matches my play style.

For some reason its really hard for me to decide what my fav. class is, the more I think about it the harder it gets. Just because all of the classes are amazing and worth playing on. As of right now Im looking forward to playing as a Priest, warlock or a druid

based on what i've seen on other games (mainly eq) is that the druid is kind of the utility class of them all. kind of the jack of all trades as spells are concerned. great healers, good nukes... really, if you are short on something in a raid, and someone has an extra druid, they're shoved into the raid so that what ever is missing, it can pick up the slack.

like i said, its a utility class in my opinion, and thats what i've seen in other games. i dont know if that will be true for what WoW has to offer, but i sure hope so. haveing a toon that can just jump inot most things when needed can be very handy.

I really like the idea of rouges. I've played rouge in all my mmorpgs. Also I know this is pretty weird but the paladin, or preist are somewhat intersting to me. But of course who wouldn't love just stabbing the living crap out of people.

shamen shail own you all. Iv been keeping up to date on it. Warlocks got gimped badly this push i hope they fix them. Im just trying to decide what race i want. Probly orc or tauren.

I'd really like to be a hunter seeing how you can virtually tame any animal out in the world and each type of animal has it's own skills/specialties and benefits as well as it levels up along side the Hunters...

Hunters also get to specialize in range combat including throwing spears/javilines, guns, bows and crossbows.

Warriors are the bet class in my opinion becasue they can tank and there one of the top melee classes and they are harder to play which people think there easy but there not.

I chose Paladin on the poll, but all the classes are definently going to be awesome. I for one know that ill be playing WoW for a very, very long time, and in that long time Im going to be trying out every class there is.

Ever since playing diablo i have loved the assassian...sneaking up, back stabbing, stealth, pick pocketing. IT just seems real fun to me. That is why i would like to b the rouge. I like the idea that i need to use alot of my abilities to kill monsters fast since rouges have very low life and AC.

I think the mage in WoW is equiped with many useful spells such as ae root, sleep. AE Blizzard, PBAE arcane explosion etc.
Also the convenience of Teleport spells really handy. In a dangerous situation mage can use mana shield, and they have mana gem to add their mana pool.
Imo they variety of spells with mage in WoW will make this class very fun to play.
All others are also fun, but mage really suits my play style.

I am really looking forwards to playing priest. I was really surprised when I came to this decision because I have always hated the idea of just playing a healing class. I have only played one other MMORPG, that was Final Fantasy XI (crappy game, not enough to do, battles are slow and very, very, repetative), and the White Mage pretty much JUST HEALED and that seemed very boring to me.

The priest in WoW seems to have a more variety (even though from the recent updates to the class it seems that Blizzard is pushing the priest down to just healing). They have decent nukes and a nice DOT, plus some good buffs. Havent played as one (not in the beta) but from looking through a lot of fan sites and reading a lot of forums, they sound like a nice, powerful class to play. Plus since my brother is going to play as a warrior, he can tank for me while I nuke/DOT/heal.

Overall, very excited for WoW, WANT IT NOW.

damit i wanted to play as a hunter or a paladin, but from the poll it looks like there will be way too many as both the races for those classes are popular, too bad u can't be any race any class combo.
