Movement in WoW

in World of Warcraft

I realize there is all sorts of movements available in WoW:

foot, mounts, air, boat, and beyond (?). I am curious though, how will it be controlled? Meaning how will the player move their character... I pray it's not point and click mouse moevement! I'm assuming control with the arrows of the keyboard though.

Additional note: Does anyone have a good guess as to when WoW will be released?

    I have seen many many estimated release dates, but nothing is totally set in stone untill about a month before it will actually release.

    From what I understand Mounts and such will be controled just the same as a player is controled within WoW.

    Standard FPS keyboard control, WASD for movement, and space is jump, mouse is look around... air mounts are on a set path and you dont control them and i tihnk the same with boats. Mounts are controlled the same way as your character.

    The movement in WoW is extremely well done, unlike Lineage 2...

    Youll have no problem controlling your character or getting used to the movement scheme.

    As for release, should be around September, possibly October.

    You can also walk with the mouse....if you push both the right and the left at the sma time your character will move towards the way you are looking.

    are u sure u dont contol air mounts? it looks like you do in the trailers

    im happy that there will be mounts at release period, most games dont start with mounts

    Air mounts will not be player controlled. They are on a set path. Kinda like how boats worked in Everquest.

    the movements are simallar to most games. sapce=jump,w=foward,a=left strafe,d=right starfe,s=backwards.

    You are allowed to assign any keys oyu want for movement..but A,D,X,W is the default along with the arrow keys.
