Ummm.... The characteristics come with ServicePack2 and up I think.  Just go on Microsofts' website and search for the pack, that should be all you need.

    OR

You can download the English patch from the wiki of perfectworld.cc. The file is about a little over a 100MB download and I am pretty sure you just replace it with the files of the Malaysian version wherever you installed it.

I might be wrong because I get an error and cannot enter the enter the game, though I have made a character...

I am just waiting for the regular English version.

I don't know, lol, but for me I will just play Voyage Century a bit and check out the game for regular English Perfect World.  I had the English patch of Malaysian version, but obviously if you get a rare error it won't be in English, therefore I couldn't play for an unknown reason.  I have tried P2P games for the computer, they just don't fit my style and if I am going to pay for it, it has to be worth it.  In my opinion, video games are a waste of time and I will only pay if it is a console game.
Three movies is a month (or two movies and big popcorn with soda)much better than a subscription to WoW that I would play once a week.
Oh yeah, I once saw this idea by someone in another forum.  You could play a game by the hours you spent.  So a casual gamer who played when he saw fit could play for less than the addict who played WoW 15 hours a day.  Why should a person who plays 15 hours a month pay as much as someone who plays 15 hours a day?
The whole idea about a monthly payment is very flawed.

Aion is not a p2p perfect world.

Also the best current f2p asian game imho is Lunia. Its new its different.

I play MMOs cause i generaly like the concept of the MMO genre. As long as the games are well polished and balanced, i dont really ask for much new under the sun.

Just like a fotball player isnt going to ask for new rules or concept in fotball matches. You never see a fotball player say "cmon, i have kicked this ball into that goal so many times, cant we do something new in the next tournament?" If you like fotball, you will be fine with the game as it is. Same with MMOs

I dont know the idea of Airiall [correct spelling?] PvP does sound interesting. Anyone got any solid info on what that will be like?

No less than Guildwars is a clone of something else.  Unfortunaly because there have been so many games now its impossable right now to avoid the cloning argument anymore.

Truth is saying a game is a clone of something else holds no weight anymore as every popular game out there is a clone of something else now.

No its not a p2p Perf World.  Graphics are gonna be alot better.  So what if they both have aerial stuff in them, its cool.  And Monthly feees are good, regardless of whether you like them or not.  They give the company funds to keep making the game better and better.

Aion isn't really like many asian games.  You gain a level only by defeating a tough boss.  So its more objective based rather then level grind.

lol yeah doesnt have really cutie graphics.  Which is ok but the graphics on there might turn some people away, but not because they are beautiful.  Theyre gonna require a very good machine.  i just upgraded to 1.5 gig ram, so all i need now is a good graphics card which im gonna ask for for christmas, because now since the beta has been delayed in Korea, it will give me time to upgrade.

Can we get a clone of the original Ultima Online?  Full loot FFA PVP?

You should check out Last Chaos as well. Lots of people play, and come and go, but it's pretty fun.

I've played a lot of P2P and F2P asian MMO's, but I like Redstone the best.

I just started playing Rappelz and I have to say that game kicks some ass for a F2P game.
