hmm not many votes atm.
I have not played any other Turbine title but Asheron's Call, but when I did they were amazing on updates/patches. Every month we were guaranteed a patch no matter what. I played until about a year or two ago and they were still pushing strong with updates, but I'm not sure if that is the current case right now. The game is getting old....and so are the developers.

Yep, CCP. Game changing expansion/patches every half year. Little patches nearly every other week. Gotta love it.

from what i see turbine adds free content updates DDO and LOTRO every 2 months . Blizzard is every 4 months or so at least since tbc release they only had one content update that leaves WOW with one content update in 8 months. About Soe i really don't know but many of their updates are payed correct me if i'm wrong. about other companies i don't know.

I dind't vote, because none of this content is truely free. You pay for it every month, and some companies even let you pay extra for larger content updates.

thats not the point of course we have to pay every month, but there is games we pay and we rarly have updates.
L2 has a free update every 6 months. Sometimes even longer in between free content.
LOTRO and DDO has a large free update every 2 months.
OP seems bent on proving to us that Turbine is best free content release software house. How about this. They had zero or one raid content available for LOTRO and now are trying to satisfy the players for more content and fast. It is same thing that happened with WOW and Blizzard, they released 2 raid instances at start and had to get on the ball with new content and fixes. I won't go into DDO a game that is not very successful, so providing content for it is almost pointless. I fully expect it to go the way of Auto Assault.
Right now Turbine may be releasing new content every 2 months but, here's a question for you. What happens when ring's destroyed? Game over? Start over?
That game has some room to grow but it is also finite in its available content.

i'd have to say NCSoft too, the L2 updates, the CoX updates, they actually almost make their games worth it to pay to play.

lol i don't even consider raid instances good content.
SOE's free update on EQII with the Neriak race and city was a huge one. Good to see SOE heading towards the right direction with this stuff instead of just getting us to buy expansions for content.
