I need another 9 month trial

Last year there was a nine month trial of this game, it started in the summer and ended early 2007. Anyways it wasn't enough time for me to decide if I liked the game enough to join. Therefore I would like another 9 month trial to decide. Thanks.

that was the noob program or whatever they call it that you are talking about, where you could only play till br6. They are planning on starting another program in the near future.. till then, you're stuck with the 14-days (if i remember it right) trial program or you will have to subscribe to the game... and 9 months is not enough..? rrrright!

first, it was a 12 month trial.
2nd, if nine MONTHS arent enough for you to DECIDE IF YOU LIKE IT, then you are just a cheap spoon that we dont want anyway
LOL @ 9 months not being enough to decide if you like the game or not..Any MMO I start, I can become one of the top players in 3 months or so...In 9 months of gameplay..Even if you played very rarely..You should have been one of the top players..and would have FOR SURE decided if you liked it or not.

The trial was availible last night, I downloaded game and said.. ef it, Ill sign up tomorrow.. its no longer availible today.. lol
As far as the 9 month thing goes... If I get bored of an MMO the first 2 weeks, Im done with it, regardless of what level I am.. I play to have fun, not work up to the fun parts
I don't even know why they give that much time to try the game out. It takes me less than a week to know if I like the MMO or not.
Maybe its just me though...
Liking the game was not really the main point of the 12-month program, they wanted to persuade those who registered themselves a free account a paid account. In most trials you only get to play a week or 2 and that is just not enough to give the player a good impression. Suppose the player has a BR6 character (which is the max they can get in the 12-month program) and he has been playing the game for a long time and he really likes it then he will be most likely be a long-term subscriber and that is what planetside needs.

Is this game only 1st person? or can you switch out?
You can switch to 3rd person to look around, but you have to aim, so you play in 1st person. Using 3rd person is pretty much just a cheezy tool people use to look around corners.
