How to pay monthly?

I'm thinking of buying FFXI for my X360... but how do I pay the monthly fee? (on Phantasy Star Universe I could just log on to marketplace)

I'm not sure how it works with the Xbox 360, what with Xbox Live and all, but on PC and PS2, you setup a Playonline ID in which you put all your personal information (credit card info etc.) and depending on how many character ID's you purchase (whether or not you wish to have one character, or two or three) is how much you get billed monthly. The billing cycle starts after the 30 day free trial, when you setup your credit card info you'll automatically get billed every 30 days, you'll also get notified (via Playonline pop-up message) when you are billed.
For those who dont have a credit card a prepaid is also accepted this is a debit card that you load money on check into www.rushcard.com or www.netspend.com i dont know but i doubt if payapl is used as I now use a prepaid debit card after my ffxi account was hacked in march for extra security purposes..good luck and welcome!
