i remember in SWG Pre-Cu when it was a living galaxy .... where i could decorate my home and hear the latest news on who the latest badass is, or who the new jedi is ... or the best BH, that when he walked in a cantina, jedi would Force run2 the hell to the starport. Oi i reall miss my BH 
. But when i think back now, i remember all the bugs, half my pistoleer skills didnt work right, and it was pretty horrible, but it could have gotten better ... i mean imagine instead of SOE pushing the CU and NGE out, and instead focusing all that time and effort into publishes and bug fixes...... i dont think any other game will be like it.

Master Ranger, Master Riflemen.
I sold hides to one specific armorer, and put thumpers on the ground for gas and metals. I was good at thumping cause I could hide and move around mobs as a Ranger.
Quests? Who needs a quest? My quest was to sell hides at the highest price, and look for other buyers behind my armorer friends back. (I think the armorer knew I was selling hides behind his back, but he didn't say anything about it.)
Quests? Who needs a quest? One day my armorer friend opened up a new shop, and we celebrated and advertised it with one half an hour of nonstop fireworks. My quest was to advertise and have fun with fireworks.
Fixed World of Warcraft teams of 5 players? Who needs fixed objectives? I would group up with as many people I could run into to hunt animals so I could skin them for hides.
CM+inv3 BH+eyeshot in pistoleer. hunting jedi was the best pvp I ever had, and they thought so too for the most part
Ask me what build i didn't have! heck, I tried them all, on the same character, was in from beta 2, then release. The one I liked the most though was the CH/Pistoleer... All my little furries... I had every useless animal I could find. Its was pointless, but really fun

I was a PVP dude for the most part, imp ftw. master rifleman/master CM with a jawa ion rifle and the craziest poisons on the server Bria. Oh yeah baby
the rest of the points would go into terrain negotiation, and gathering. By the way the characters name was Titoa Scibi
I also had a second account that was a master smuggler, master TK, and master pistoleer. Neutron Pixies, and Muan Gold (SP) were the shiznit.. and oooh the good old days of slicing, double slicing, and meditating. Pap Alan
A shame, the games current state compared to the old days. But hey what are ya gonna do to convince them to change it back? You know :P

Best fun I ever had in an MMO was being a M.BH/M.Carbs...I was nearly invincible to Jedi, even caught many unbuffed Jedi Masters 1.2mil and 1.3 mil variety too....so much fun so much waisted talent =/

I was a Master Bounty hunter/Master pistoleer for the most part =]
Master Bounty Hunter / Master Carbineer / XXX4 Combat Medic ( poison stuff ) / Force Sensative, melee def., ranged off. Very deadly. Never wanted to be a Jedi, i just wanted to be a killing machine.
Chimaera: Master Medic/Doc, Master Ranger, Master TK, Master Rifleman, Master Scout/Ranger, some CH mixed with BE don't know the template by hart anymore
, also did some pistoler/rifleman combo's and pike/tk/scout. Have met the old man and by the time i was ready for the village .........wel we all know what happend 
Since the game began to change some of our guildy's started to play more often on Farstar where i settle the last period before i left and have been on Farstar: Master Shipwright, Master Droid Egnineer, Master Architect, (master Artisian hehe), did some BE aswell but never took a combat prof on Farstar, and wel crafters at the time where horrible as i died many times or incapped many times while trying to get to any of my harvesters, glad that most of it has been fixed/changed so that crafters do stand a change during some combat if needed. Still the game has tons of room for improvement but also has done allot of thing finaly more right then they use to.
I don't believe you could have this template, I was MBH/MCarbs and the most I could go up in Medic was 2 boxes, maybe 1; pre-cu anyways, I don't know about post cu.

As far as I remember, no decent pvp jedi with buffs would die to this template with that saberblock etc preCU. Especially not in the GTEF days =P Invincible? I doubt it unless you had the most imba carbine ever. But ye ofc alot of jedi hid and had no idea how to defend themselfs when finally attacked.

After two long, gruelling years of grinding, I finally made it to jedi Knight, MLS, MDEF, some Heal, some Enh - alas, it's now been so long, I can't remember the last details. But, once I finally hit that template, no BH, however excellent, well-equipped and obsessive ever beat me again.
Aaaah, I remember one beautiful battle when I, with my guild, were attacking Anchorhead. Suddenly, i started taking hits from some odd direction. It was a BH/Pistoller with some souped up D10, I think. I immediately hit my 'Emergency Button' (my super macro for eating a tonne of protection, speed and attack drugs and food). Slowly and inexorably, I sliced him to pieces, all the while fending off Rebs who were protecting their city.
At the end of its all, after I had delivered the deathblow, he sent; 'U r imba & will be nerfed soo'.
Well, along came the NGE and yes, i was nerfed. And so was he, the fool.

Carbs were some of the best DOT weapons in game. Mad mind fire..tripple incap..pwnt. Without a dot carb...this template was worthless pre-cu...vs anyone.
