I really wanna win wow but I wonder how big the chance is to really win one of the beta? Anybody that know the chances? Thank you!

Well let's see, there is 72649 members..... 3 beta's..... It doesn't look good. Assuming about half the members sign up for this thing, you have about a 1 in 12,000 chance of winning.

I just hope MMORPG.com doesn't give the betas to only the mods like some of the other sites. Ah well I have my fingers crossed so I'm hoping!

We've never given the contest beta accounts to staff members and we are not about to start doing that now.

Why would it matter if the mods had a chance to win? There's like 5 mods, that's not very big. That's most likely the number of members that join daily, if not more... Much more.

keep in mind, the more times you visit the site before the drawing, the better chance you have. so kkep visiting. i think that they will only count like up to 4 visits, but that increases your chances, so they say.

There was 12,000 people who entered the EQ2 beta contest, I figure similar number entered WoW beta. So thats about 1 : 4,000 chance.

I don't exactly believe in odds.. I'll just sit and hope. Same way I did with the WoW Beta Phases 1-3: putting a paperweight over the F5 key and turning the volume all the way up over night hoping for a ding

I wasn't able to sign up for the 1st phase cuz i didnt hear about WoW till about phase 2 which reallly sucks. So i'm hoping on this to get me but the odds are not good.

The way things go for me, usually the one's I want to get into beta or win a slot, I don't win. But, the one's that don't matter if I do or not get in, I usually do get into beta or win. Kinda odd, but that is how it works for me. And given the fact, I have never played any Blizzard's game to this date, probably means no chance for winning a slot in beta. Would be nice to try and contribute to the game play, but I no my odds are 1 in a million.

At least we try, cause if you don't enter you don't have a shot at all. But, its fun to enter and see what happens, no hopes and no dissapointments this way.

Sure if the drawing was completely random and 1 mod wins due to luck then I don't have a problem.

What I have a problem with is that some sites are given Beta keys and either: A) refuse to make a contest and keep the accounts themselves against what Blizzard says OR Have a rigged contest and predettermined winners before the contest is announced ie: mods only.

Since a four leaf clover indicates a flaw in nature due to an outside contaminating element (e.g. chemical waste), I'd consider finding one to be a sign of bad luck. ::::39::
