well let me tell you a player who palyed lineage 2 the game is trash you might as well play everquest lol plz dont play it and the patch messed the game up a lot the game lags even more now sorry to tell this info ::::01::

I have heard from some people that L2 has changed a bit since it was in beta testing.

My experiences in open beta were not all too bad, and if I had more time and money (added on to my already 3 MMOs) I would probably have kept with the game. I will say this however, and that is that this game is a goldmine for griefers. I hear that this is still the case.

But as with any games, specifically MMOs, many times it takes a good few months to get out of "Beta 4," or the problems that come after release. Sony released SWG and it's still in its first stage of beta for all I'm concerned.

If you don't mind a level grind (which really isn't that bad at all, it is comparable to EQ if you've played that), then give L2 a try.

Things I liked about L2:

The world seemed very immersive to me. I was able to relate to PCs and NPCs in an environment that seemed suiting.
The world seemed big and fantastical to me. The races are scattered throughout the world and as so, it was fun to hear about people and places you wouldn't meet until you go to a much higher level.
The tradeskilling, although I never participated, seemed to keep a rather stable player economy.
The hunting was fairly quick and somewhat fun, with a decent loot system and a good grouping system.
Open PvP allowed for quick ends to disputes. If you just liked to grief people and go around killing them for no good reason, your name would turn red and you would be a beacon for everyone to kill.

These are my thoughts, take with it what you will.

Well as everyone here knows I was in Open Beta and bought retail the day it came out.

a few things I have to say.

The graphics are really nice, yea. but you see the same mobs running around. the same thing you fought at level 10 (stone golem) is the same thing you fight at level 35 (porta).

I really enjoyed my experience up until now, around level 30 or so the grind is unholy..it really is.

The pvp arenas couldn't be better. I have not seen one red (pker) since c1, that is because everyone and anyone can take their unsettled issues to the arena, no losses whatsoever.

the mobs, instead of dropping like 150a (at level 30) drop 300, so it has doubled in most parts

the drops are much better (2 coal instead of one)

as for castle sieges, I doubt any clan has scheduled one YET, but soon to come they will.

Many people running around with hatchlings (baby dragons) soon you will be able to ride them (level em up) and ride them into battle, as for wyrens, well...good luck to ya.

I will sum it up here , I am a fan, I did pay 85 bucks for it. though, the grind is just unholy. if there was one thing i could change, then it would be the grind.

As for customization, i could care less. unlike CoH, we have armor

armor = customization

I have only seen ONE person in the game that looks like me, and i must have passed by ten's of thousands.

take another word from me, do not listen to the CoH fanboys that only played the L2 beta...c1 has changed it so much, that you would have to BUY it and play it to change your view (talking to the anti - l2ers)

The only thing that has changed is there is more adena bots gathering money... It is still a level grind and that is why i think the game sucks. They can change whatever they want, but if your still killing little rats for days on end, it will not make a better game.

The only way they could make L2 better is by deleting the entire program. If youre going to have an open beta where anyone can play, and you have a crappy game, that tells me not to ever buy it since they think its a good game by having open beta.

I know one clan did successfully take a castle in a seige and if i am right then they have already defended it at least once.

I was in the beta too.. I had 2 accounts and only used one! gave away the other one! I personally don't like L2 that much. but I have to say. if it wasn't for the stupid people that play it it would be awsombe!

HebrewBomb, considering you are one of the few to say it has gotten better, support your opinion. Also, don't say I didn't support mine... go look on other posts, I have supported it on many others, including yours.

Now, for the reason why it is bad, again:

Adena farmers selling gold on ebay. Most newbies ebay, thus having millions of adena at level 1. "BUT DRAK! millions isnt alot!" In this game, it is.

For the level grind... who ever said it isn't bad, look at the first level 75 on the korean server. In an interview he said that from 70-75 it took two people playing the character for 20 hours combined a day for 6 months straight... not a single day missing from playing. How is that for a level grind? However, considering you said you only played beta (assuming open beta only) I can understand why you didn't hit the level grind.

Now don't get me wrong, the grind was the one thing that I actually liked about this game. However, there were too many other problems that I couldn't put up with anymore (the community, bunch of whinning little assholes, excuse my language).

Ahhhh, but there is still the insinuation that I played

But as for the game, I was about to get it until a buddy who was playing told me he gets ganked about 10+ times a week by griefers. Which was a total turn off. Not so bad for him though since he's a bigger pvp fan then I am.

Well I have a friend at level 52 now and he needs to farm for about 2 days to make 2 million or so (I can't say one day to one million because it isn't exactly that ratio).

Also, I play on my friends character if he needs to go out to do something. I level him occasionally... only when I am home and really bored (really bored extends that I am not replaying Final Fantasy IV or V or VI for the quadrillionth time).

Also, if you read my whole post, not just the part where I mention *millions* (notice the "s") then you would realise I am talking about level ones with millions of adena... that is a lot.

Look at it this way, person A didn't ebay, person B did.

Level 1:

A = 0 adena

B = 2 million adena

Level 20:

A = 300k adena

B = 2.3million adena

See where I am going with this? If both characters don't farm, by the time they hit 40, player B can have great C-grade weapons while A is still on low class D-grade weapons.

***EDIT***

By the way, I played my own account during Open Beta and a month after. I leveled a Phantom Ranger to level 54 in those two months (And I still wasn't the first to 40 and ggThnx beat me to 50 by 4 levels . Yes, I played a hell of a lot. Yes, I know that a million isn't a lot to someone at that level.

okay look, im confused , many people i've talked on war3 tell me l2 sucks this and that and its really laggy with a good computer+cable connection, but i want to get a mmo' i want WoW but that prolly wont come out for a while, but until then i wanna play a fun mmo , and + i have 56k, but i will get direcway soon, i hope, but anyways by the sounds of it murt has a good veiw on the game, but others dont, could i have more info on this game plz, is sounds so fun
