What I feel obligated to say: You're honestly better off seeing a doctor and asking for a prescription.

What you want to hear:  Sominex and Simply Sleep. Nighttime pain relievers such as Tylenol PM are also safe to take on a short-term basis, but can leave you feeling groggy and tired rather than rested, and they dry out the nose and mouth.

Problem with lack of sleep is that it deprives you of the ability of rational thinking. With that you'd realize sleeping pills are the biggest crap around.

    Anyways, see a doctor.

    First thy this shit.

    Go outside. Take a walk.

The worse the weather, the better. Walking in a firce and windy rain for 6 hours will make you dead tired.

    Always workes for me.

I have the same problems, but I work shifts which is why I struggle to sleep often. The answer isn't pills. Most pills bought over the counter are useless anyway, but if you take them there's a possibility you'll become addicted. They're also generally pretty aweful for your system.

Best thing to do is get up EARLY every morning. I'm guessing because you're on holiday you're going to sleep late, getting up later.. Force yourself to get up at 9AM every morning. you'll soon find your absolutely shattered by the time you need to go to bed and will soon work your way back into a normal(ish) schedule.

You could get drunk every night.....seems to work for me :)

I once took one and not only did i stay awake but i halucinated the whole night. I thought i was 3 different people at once and couldnt get up. And the whole next day i felt detached from my body. It was like i could see the world hear it and touch it but it was at a distance from me.

So in short take one if you want to freak out all night/day.

Oh and i took the weakest one the doctor could prescribe me.

Did the "doctor" operate out of the back of a van?

no he was a Proffesor actually. and i was at Hospital.

I think you wil find that with some people such drugs [like sleeping pills which are a Phychotropic drug] have a bad effect on them.

I'm not sure which I should explain first, rhetorical questions or a sense of humor.

Needed to edit this wasn't a good idea.

In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect.

Just make sure you set your alarm clock to wake up at the time you ned to wake up for school.  Do not sleep in!  Even if you are falling asleep later your body will start to become more tired each day and then you will be able to fall asleep at a time that allows you to wake up at the time you need.

If you need to adjust in a hurry... pull an allnighter and do not allo yourself to sleep till the next evening.  But they key is waking up at that set time every morning.

I would stay away form sleeping pills.

I count math... I look at my alarm clock take the 3 first numbers and try to make the final number. Example: 22:34. 2x3-2=4. Only problem is that I tend to get so involved that I keep doing it until it hits 00:00, then it's no fun any more. The best part is that I always forget how I counted it out from night to night, so it always works.

I would suggest a visit to the doctor though, as all others have said before.

I finally feel alseep around 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. and woke up at 1:30p.m.! just in time for work. But yeah I think I'm gonna see a doctor, that or im going to pull an all nighter. I need to get on the sleep schedule of 11:00pm to 6:00am, thats a solid 7 hours of sleep. I think ima try to pull an all nighter and go to sleep around 10:00 and see when i wake up and try to ajust it from there to get on my goal schedule.

    You call 9AM early?

Try reading with the book light in your bed.  Once you start feeling drowsy, put the book down and try to sleep.

Its hard tho too cause I have another problem. See, Im redoing my entire room so its all covered in platic being painted, ect. So I can't use my room to sleep and I havent slept on a bed in a about a week. And my brother (who IS in college) always has at least 10 people over until 4:00am so the only refuge I had is now gone. Its fun and all, but damn its messing up my sleeping

    Beds are overrated.
