Yes, i'm liking the game "again", but i have to be honost i have not met many teenagers that stayed long in SWG and over the last 5 months since i returned i have met a few and the few i met: Left already a few months ago or might have found another server, complained allot about how hard things are, complained allot about timesincks which SWG only has if someone is impatient. But again this is only my experiance and i'm sure there are allot of teens that actualy have patients and take their time to do the things that can be done in SWG.
All in all i wish you best of luck and fun
Make sure you get on a heavy server very important.

how do u actually join a faction? is it at the character selection?

No, you need to find a recruiter for the faction you're joining. Easiest way is to go to the Talus Imperial Outpost if you want to go Imperial or the Rori Rebel Outpost if you want to go Rebel (but you don't want to do that
)
i bought the complete online adventures today. bah my comp can run it but i wanted to wait for my new comp which im gettin ina couple days. It says on the box every game "online update" ect ect. will i need to update it anymore? or is it already updated.

The game is updated constantely. There are new chapters (about every 2 to 3 month) with new content and occassionally hotfixes. Its updated automatically whenever you log in. This might take a bit longer when you login the first time (to update all the new chapters since the DvD was produced).
What about the servers with low -- or almost barren amounts of people on them?
Why is it so empty? I feel sorry for the people on the low population servers... it's not like it's thier fault this is like this.
Send people to those servers to help those people out man.
