screen resolution

hey is there a way to set the screen rez higher? i only have the option of 1024-768, i can get a much higher rez on all other games i play, so is there somet i can do?

Sadly you are stuck with the resolutions given. However you may try this to see if it helps you. Go to your ArchLord folder location Default should be C:Program FilesCodemastersArchlord and make a .txt (text file) saying iwantwindow.

If you have a 19" monitor then you can get 1280 by 1024 as that is the native resolution of a 19" monitor. What size monitor do you have, if it is a 19" then i cant understand why it would work, have you tried changing it in the actual game and also in the game patching screen setup. Make sure you scroll down the list.
Cant really recommend anything else.

definantly helps if you make the window txt file...or you can edit your option ini file and where it says Window = 0, replace the 0 with a 1.

That depends on the monitor. I'm using a 19" widescreen monitor with a native resolution of 1440 x 900. And I'll tell ya, 1280 x 1024 looks wrong with Archlord, because of the widescreen, I guess.And I tried editing .ini files, ingame options, etc., no dice.

I know that its different for a widscreen monitor, that why i didnt mention widescreen in my post, but the native for a 19" none widescreen is 1280 x 1024.

We can all assume the OP has taken all of this advice and no more help is needed thanks.
