Star Wars Galaxies: Imperial Content

SOE has announced on the Star Wars Galaxies official site that high level Imperial characters will be able to take part in new Imperial content, including new quests and rewards.


Players who have already completed the Imperial Theme Park have been granted permission by the Galactic Empire to complete new tasks for the high ranking officials of the Empire. Imperial citizens and officers who complete the assignments set before them by the Empire will earn Galactic Civil War points for completing quests and will also obtain a brand new quest reward.

The Empire seeks your assistance in hunting down and eliminating threats to the Empire. You will be called on to thwart the efforts of the Rebel Alliance to recruit sympathizers and reinforce the Empire's position as the ultimate power in the universe. Your services are essential in reaching this objective.

To begin this adventure you must be a member of the Galactic Empire. You can become a member of the Empire by visiting a faction recruiter and declaring your allegiance. You can find an Imperial recruiter on Naboo near the spaceport in Theed at -4928 4228.

    Yea yea yea let them make all the "announcements" they want, there only trying to seduce people back into this steaming pile of dung of a game. Yea go play in space with "new content"....have fun playing with maybe two other people if your lucky.And the new content is probably one broken mission or two... morons....

    Lets just do a half-assed revamp of the themeparks and call it new content.

    This'll work. 9 million subs by Q4 just you wait!

    They reallly shoudl add new art and locations and derive the timeline from star wars rebellion aka comic book by dark hoarse.

    Yeah i remember when heavy weapons were disabled then reintroduced as new content as well lol. Now if they  just would reintroduce that pre-cu they took away hmmlol. Yeah i wish when they have one of those SOE propaganda events someone would tell Smed flat out what new content means.

    *Games on our site will be treated just as we treat people. Unsubstantiated comments about specific or general games will be penalized in nearly the same way attacks against people will. The exception is that you can say mean things about games provided you back it up with reasons.
    Example: "Game X sucks." is not a legitimate comment. "Game X sucks, because..." is acceptable.

    Well, they were kinda new.  Heavy Weapons had never previously had free range targeting.

    The Theme Parks have needed revamping since JTL was introduced and more so with ITVs.  They were designed when we did not have vehicals.  They now take your missions off world but require group effort.  After the first series of quests (the first NPC) the mission pit you to boss level NPCs.  Without the right Mods and tatics and with "Punishing Blow" from NPCs, your gonna need help.  The missions follow the order of NPC Quest givers from before but are now for Level 85-90.  As you progress through the Park, you are rewarded with faction armor with good stats and Mods.

    If you earned the badge before, don't worry as you still have it.  I say this because someone stated they lost their badge on some quest when it was revamped.
