I just downloaded the game from buying my 4.99 pre order, and now it says my account is blocked and it tells me to go to their forums to see why, but the forums are down and seem to have been for a long time
Anyone else have this prob?

Yeah I got real scared when I saw that too, but it's just that the game has certain times where you can play during this closed beta peroid.
Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm-2:00am
Friday 5:00pm to Monday 2:00am (I am not sure if that is the starting time on Friday... it could be earlier.)
and these times apply for the forums as well I think.
and I think that is central time.

The forums are up 24/7 so you shouldnt have a problem getting there.

Darn, I am unable to log on forums.. actually to make an account
though luck, I was hoping to play tonight.
Some ISPs seem to be blocked or something like that, on the Beta forums that is I also keep getting error 500

Yes, the forums have been dead since the 14th, can't report bugs..issues.
I had the same issue, and while I still cannot seem to play the game (though I have been downloading all the patches), I am now able to access the forums. I got the "500" error as others seem to have gotten when applying for a forum account, and had to send a message to the support team to fix it. They replied the next day saying they believed to have fixed the issue, and now I can view the forums perfectly (which are active now)
I'm wondering if us pre-order lads aren't able to play the beta yet... something in the box (and the email after registering a game account, if one did so) said that we'd be contacted when pre-order customers were allowed into the beta. Perhaps the accounts are blocked because we are not allowed in as of yet?
Someone do let me know if I'm mistaken, and pre-orders are in fact able to the play the game now
The beta forums have been fixed. If you are getting an "account blocked" message, it is probably due to you trying to log in when the servers are down.

Edit: Yes pre-orders can log into the beta test.
I can login to the beta with my new pre-order account, but cannot access the forums. It would be nice to access the beta forums, but at least I can play.
