I gave in to temptation

in Everquest II

It was truely pathetic lastnight....

We were sitting here really bored realizing that diablo wasnt cutting it anymore and we couldnt find any other game to keep our interest. And since EQ2 isnt coming out for awhile we then went to the Everquest site and thought of doing the free trial and then looked at eachother and went out to find everquest evolutions. Left the house at 9pm went to one walmart and found one copy and then across town to the other walmart for another copy. Getting home at 11. After almost 2 years of not playing were back in killing the rats and spiders...curse you sony and your evil temptations. Its truely sickening...lol

    I finally gave into it.  My friends had been bugging me for years to play, but I always resented the game because it took players away from AC1.  Its ok, different though.  And very hard to get used too.  I believe it is too outdated.

    what sucks though is we had to go out and pay for the disks again we have all these copies here but can't use them since we either sold or gave away our past accounts. Oh well guess I'll get over it image

    No worries, you guys are not alone. Consumed by the anticipation of EQ2 I went back and reactivated my girlfriends dormant account just to have a taste of EQ again after nearly eight months off. After years of game play and nurturing my little rogue through 65 levels, a couple hundred AAs and one too many hours of raiding, I am back at square one. On a positive note, I love the tutorial they have added, not for the information provided, but the intimate (there is that word again) dungeon environment that easies you into Norrath. Sure it is  a quick short term fix for the addiction, but hell, who are we kidding...Sony does it best at keeping us wanting more!

    Yep I restarted too, sad theres still no better MMORPG after 4 years.  I played EQ for 3 years with a year break.   So After trying 13 other MMORPGs im back also.  The graphics are MUCH better if you buy the SOL expantion btw, till then u get the old models and graphics.

    I almost did that tonight, but instead I got Warcraft 3, which isn't working.  I heard they added some buddy key or something where you can let someone play for a bit?  If thats true, anyone wanna hook me up so I can get a bit of a fix?

    You dont need a buddy key its a free 30 day trial, no CC needed, includes the original EQ, and first 2 expantions.  www.everquest.com.

     I have never played EverQuest before, maybe i should give it a shot. That is once i max out my DAoC character image.

    Good thing I am not all too excited about that game because I would be in trouble. Haha...no money makes for a hard time to enjoy a game that you have to buy. Seeing as how you can't, you know..buy it.

    I'm downloading it now, lemme know your name and server and maybe we can play a little bit on the lowbie side of the game.  Not sure what I'm going to play as for only a month, but maybe a wood elf bard, just like back in the day heh.

    I know i gave in too, i got the new expansion gates of discord also and became a berserker


    I bow to sonys evil ways to temp peopl einto playing these evil evil games

    ::::08::::::08:: ,, btw. maybe someone would like to play with me.. i have a level 5 ogre berserker and i can take yellows easy for now (i found 90pp pretty good for low level) Im on Xegony server or if someone is in rodcet nife i have some pretty good items with decent + to stats that i do not need if any1 wants them
