Game Spot has a nice stage demo of the tome of knowledge. Looks like it's coming along very well.

Nice video, the Tome sounds completely awesome.. can't wait!
I am big on exploring and lore and always want to do everything, so the Tome of Knowledge is going to be right up my alley.
I love the idea of the Tome of Knowledge. This new vid makes me even more excited because of the "inspect player" part. In the vid, the developer lady says we can inspect a player and read a page of their Tome. It will display info such as how many times they have died so far, how many of each mob they have killed in their career, etc. That is a great feature.
Wouldn't it be cool if it also showed your grudges. What I mean by that is how many times you have killed certain players, and how many they have killed you. It would be a way of tracking feuds with the enemy, LOL.

haha i agreed if u dont die in 30 levels u are a coward not the undefeated ! Lotr needs to change that.

I actually disagree with this . . . or rather, it's not specific enough.
If you have gone through 30 levels and havn't been killed, you should only be named a 'coward' if you havn't actually killed any other players. If, on the other hand, you do partake in PvP, manage to kill loads of people and still (somehow) never get killed, then well . . . you should really have an awesome title.

This info is great, Im a big pvper and I pretty much hate grinding to a degree. This system makes me wanna grind, all that I have ever asked is that when im grinding let it be for a reason not just to get that quest done or just to lvl up but much more. The tome looks like a mini game thottbot. Now if they add a mp3 player ill never have to alt tab it seems. If any devs are listening They need to make it so you can share any page with your group, man im such a nerd and a lore whore, That would be so cool "hey wait up guys let me check my pokedex i mean my tome before we charge that".
