Worst mmorpg top10 list

I would like to make an accurate reply, but I don't think I can really put some of your top 10 worst in mine, I haven't played some of them.

I could agree with swg CU ... NGE was just bad because their soo much bugged and lag, and the story doesn't fit at all with the movie.

Ao and DDo are bad enought to fit in the list too.

Horizon .. if it wasn't a faillure at lunch, it had great potential, just bad developpers

AC 2 ... was awesome before they closed server .. if it was still on, I would be playing this game, I don't think it deserve to be in the worst.

Everquest2 ... It's good and it's bad ... I would say it can't be in top 10 of good or bad game.

MxO ... I only beta tested it ... but I hate it ...

Vanguard ... was confused by it .. I had to much hope in this game

Guildwars ... would deserve to be worst (only cuz I hate point and click mmos) otherwise, it's not even an mmorpg

Lotro ... WoW clone in slow motion .. with a little plus somewhere else

Lineage 2 ... seem interesting if they were less bot ... go in DE city and take a look at the dwarves who keep running into the guard .. one after anothers ...

SoR ... it look like a grind fest for me .... and terribly boring

ShadowBane .. Great concept .. Great pvp ... bad engine I think ..

CoH/CoV ... was great till you get the boring feel of doing always the same thing ...

DnL .. doesn't even deserve to be talked about ... it's the worst of all (should be number 1)

WoW, Everquest, FFXI and UO ... I don't think any of these should be in the top 10 worst, they are good and bad point ... but each one had something to give to the genre. Uo was one of the first successful, EQ was the first great one, FFXI was the first console multiplatform mmo .. with unique way to make community play the same game. WoW make million more people to know MMOrpg

The hell man, Anarchy Online was a great game.

  • rictor51rictor51 Member Posts: 24

My top 10 and more.. 1 being the worst.

    1. Saga of Ryzom - Horrible.. most game can at least capture your attention for 5 minutes. It failed to do so in 3

    2. Archlord - WTF. The concept is even laughable

    3. MU Online - just wow

    4. Lineage 2 - Built by farmers for farmers... tired anime look

    5. Horizons - Had HUGE potential great crafting.. no end game or even mid game

    6. Second Life - are you F'ing kidding me?

    7. Dark and Light - Read the news.. nuff said

    8. Knight Online - Good attempt.. free and all.. but they couldnt raise sub count if they paid us

    9. Final Fantasy XI - good single player games but online was garbage. player base sucked forced grouping sucks but a whole lot of fun running the entire zone without losing aggro on a bee  and i know anime is popular to some.. but seriously.. stop it.. just stop.

    10. Vanguard: Saga of Heroes - Had high hopes features looked good game ran like garbage had very little content wasnt finished and my cup of coffee didnt even wanna sit on the CDs for an easy coaster. coffee actually cried. That and forced grouping and crumby yet small player base made this game stink like Courtney Love's Hamper

    Runner ups:

Matrix Online - always kinda frowned on movie based games cause you already know whats gonna happen. good for the Emo players and would be "Columbine Shooters"

Sims Online - Never played it but i guess lonely 35+ year olds could try to simulate what life could be if the world was full of retards and other lonely 35+ year olds

I may have given some of these games more of a chance than others... But some of you are diluted if you think AO is even close to the top 10.. great game, lots of depth, awesome pvp. very involved.. Shadowbane was great if the servers werent run on a cell phone and before it got so congested with player cities. everyone got soft and not much of an endgame. travel system sucked. but i still dont believe that it deserves in the top 10. Same with SWG, great before they messed with everything.. that includes back before combat changes.. solid gameplay, GREAT GREAT GREAT economy and crafting system. (stores, harvesting, surveying etc). DDO was good until you hit max level.. not a fan of the D&D skill system but it was alright. just not enough content. AC2 was great again with content.. Turbine seems to have problems with that.. include LOTRO with that as well.. could have been great if there was some sort of endgame.

you have got to be kidding me...

there is only so far you can go for voting for the underdogs but you have same to taken it to an all time low

those games have wasted a collective 10 hours of the gaming community's life that they will never get back

  • rictor51rictor51 Member Posts: 24

I will post here my 10 best.. if it needs to be moved i will just copy and paste it there or something

    my 10 best:

    1. Asheron's Call - Depth, great pvp, great community, no 2 players were exactly the same... of course it was my first real MMORPG so may be a little biased.. and i am referring to the community back when i played

    2. Anarchy Online - LOTS of depth, lots of loot, great classes, fun pvp, good player base at the time i played

    3. World of Warcraft - Do I really need to explain? Should be number 1

    4. City of Heroes/Villians - Fun.. a little repetitive great eye candy, fun pvp.

    5. Star Wars Galaxies - (before combat changes, after bug fixes, and jump to lightspeed) Economy, crafting, and pet aspect are hands down the best of any game to date. Still not a single game can get even close to replicating it when everyone should be trying to.

    6. Shadowbane - Great PvP.. probably near the best in my opinion.. crappy server and now is overrun with cities and unplayable. HATED the travel system

    7. Auto Assault - Most underrated game ever. was great all the way up to max level. open pvp was not good but arenas were, lots of loots, cool graphics and artwork unless you were out of your vehicle

    8. Lord of the Rings Online - Beautiful game... could have been one of the best if there was endgame content. everything was well made with some depth but too easy to level to max. pvp is forced grouping and very unbalanced. in the movies and books one hero can take down multiple enemies at once. in pvp you cant.

    9. Dark Age of Camelot - forced grouping sucks, but pvp was great and graphics were pretty at the time. decent game.

    10. Betas that I am in.... 2 of them are awesome so far and would already be put on the list. Can't disclose them but they are awesome.

close runner up that many will disagree was Risk Your Life. only played for a little bit but was fun... just got distracted by a better game listed above.

    How was EQ2 at launch?

My top 10, 1 worst, 10 least worst, not including those really small MMO's

    1: Dark & Light

    2: Realms of Krel/ Mourning

    3: Dungeon Runners

    4: Savage Eden

    5: Tibia

    6: Shadowbane

    7: Runescape

    8: Horizons

9: Star Wars Galaxies - NGE

I think EQ2 should be cut some slack because unlike most other MMOs, huge efforts were made to improve it.  It's still could have been tons better imo, but nowhere near as bad as some might say.

Mind you, do they still have that ridiculous slow movement speed when you're in combat?

Still waiting for your Holy Grail MMORPG? Interesting...

My list of biggest flops--as in MMOs with the biggest potential, budgets and hype that just didn't go over nearly as well as they should have:

    1) SWG

A game based on a worldwide cultural phenomenon that gave you the opportunity be what Luke would have been had he stayed on Tatooine to help his uncle repair moisture vaporators instead of blasting Imperials.  What an enormous, colossal failure of a game.

    2) EQ2

Poor art direction and even worse gameplay  sunk this game before it even launched.  SOE's sour reputation among its subscribers didn't help matters.  They'll pay big name actors to do voice-overs while a janitor could fix the game's debilitating combat system and help the game much more in the process.

    3) Vanguard

What's left to say?  Now we know why Luclin was such a mess when it launched.  Tech-obsessed lead designer tries to do too much and gets nothing right in the process.  His "core" gameplay concepts were recognized as crap long before this fiasco anyway.

    4)Everquest

Talk about arrogance.  The massive casual audience was there for the taking all along but The Vision said noooo...see above.

Since it is obvious I disagree with his least 10, or even where he got it, here is my top and bottom 10 as far as I can go(there are only so many good ones:

    1. (Some people saw this coming, maybe not in this incarnation) SWG: CU - Yep CU! The first steps were rough, very very rough. An entire community was left to it's devices trying to figure out a new system, while at the same time trying to explore a very ambitious expansion in rage of the wookies. The correlation of the two was unfortunate, because both the expansion and the CU turned out to be well balanced, intriguing, and full of depth. I can not remember a better overall game than SWG at this point minus the loss of weaponsmith as a viable profession (beginning of the loot wars). The CU was by far the height of the Jedi/Bounty Hunter conflict in the game, and many people profited from it. I even enjoyed my time on Mustafar until they announce the NGE, but that is another list unfortunately.

    2. SWG: Pre-CU - Woefully unbalanced classes for the sake of both PvE and PvP. A buffed M-Rifle, M-TKM could stand to anything buffed other than a full template jedi (which no one could stand to, minus another FTJ). Unfortunate bugs led to weapons that were later fixed, but the ones that existed were allowed to stay, which led to PvP players that could never be matched. That aside, there was fear when you met certain foes in both pvp and pve. Nightsisters were a group affair, not to be trifled with..etc. The true variant of this game was the community. It took a community to craft, to build large cities, to collect resources, to do, well everything! The point was you could be a barmaid, an entertainer, a moisture farmer, a combat pilot, or even a makeup artist. Many complain about the jedi grind, but the system kept them honest, the death penalty for a grinding Jedi was the most severe I have seen in any game minus L2. It wasn't perfect, but it was what I consider to be the third generation game that those that claim to be third generation games forgot. There has not been a game like this before or since. Point for point, there is not a game on the market that was this ambitious, and from what I am seeing, there may never be. Space piloting, crafting, single character profession choice (only one character per server), resource change and use, PvE AI, resistance options, community need (doctor buffs, crafting (decay), entertainer mind buffs, etc.), Avatar customization,  guild wars, even the ability to own your own player bases. This game had it all, without the need for pre-scripted, shallow raid lore. On top of that it was beautiful.

    3. Saga of Ryzom - One of two swg refeugees best friends. Ryzom has a great character customization system, and a very forgiving character advancement system. The difference being, in Ryzom you can follow any path you wish without losing your previous knowledge. Craft/Magic/Combat: pursue them one at a time or all at once. Furthermore, you can bend your own abilities into a specialized attack. The community is the heart of this game. Gathering resources is much like the old swg. This may even be more freeform than old swg. It's a wide open and beautiful world, and I think worth a look. Note, it is and ha never been solo friendly. Anyone who tried this solo lost magnificent amounts of time.

    4. EvE - Easily #4 for me considering where I came from. Again, solo possible, but better with the community, and is for the most part, a very good community to play a year with. Personally I think the temptations are too much. A year's worth of work, lost too easily. On the other hand the skill system is fair. The graphics are amazing. I just wonder where the bathrooms are located on the freighters. Many complain about the travel system, yet I found it strangely zen like. It was nice to place something that aknowledges the vastness of space. Plus gave me time to do work while I was flying around.

    5. World of Warcraft - Yeah strange thing to follow 1-4. I played for a few months, never reaching 60, but 58! The same goes for the rest of this list so grain of salt. I got bored, but for a time the quests were quite entertaining. Lack of a guild base possibility, character customization, literally a single way to set myself apart (not pwn, just play a different part) took it's toll. The game really, is so huge that it is easy to get lost in googling what you should be, rather than what you want to be. So, why 5? Because I have many friends who have been playing this since launch, and watching them play capture the flag, team death match (of all team or individual numbers), base capture, and even (cough) raids of impossible foes, looked like a blast. Watching them play reminds me of my old days in Quake 2 with massive mod, or Quake 3 with Q3F. They play for hours, and have a great time, like I used to play for hours. The difference being the commitment to get to that point is just not in my time slot. WoW had, and still has a great art direction, a great balance between, and good gameplay. Anyone who says less is burned out, which I understand. WoW is not casual by any means if you want to be competitive, and this is only because there is only one aspect to this game, which is combat. Had they spread competitiness out a bit, I think there would be a better veteran (those who left) opinion of this game. As it stands, 25+ hours a week over a period of months, while still getting completely pwd would burn out anyone, very quickly. Yet, there is more of this on the way. Funny thing to me though, they turn over the game to new players so quickly that they cycle and recycle like no other mmorpg out there. WoW's appeal is that it is accessible, and veils it's fangs until the player either loves it, or tires of it. If you don't tire, you're in for the long haul.

    To Shorten:

    6. EQ2. Rough launch hurt. Bad. Not nearly as accessible as #5 and thank god. This game has the customization (visually) of swg and enough race/class choices to put #5 to shame. The result of a bad launch is a community that loves the game, and it shows when you get to the mainland from trial. The funny thing about EQ2 is that SOE never gave up on it with the idea of milking their player base until it died. They fixed it, made it better. Added new zones, pvp (one of their first oversights), levels, items, while at the same time allocating server and database space to allow their players to have a home. Which I find extremely important (although the homes were not nearly as elaborate as SWG, the idea may have been better implemented, i still prefer to see my house as I walk up to it). EQ2 is currently SOE's flagship and baby, it shows. I don't know what to say in contention to this game other than when you choose, you are locked in that choice. Your character requires a great deal of google searching so you don't lose all your work for naught. Overall though, as a singular game, this one has improved tremendously. Even better when they aknowledged that WoW did not encompass their ultimate direction. Good community, good graphics, good gameplay, great quests (better be), decent pvp.

    7. This is a weird one: SOE's chat system: What U Talkin about Willis? There is no other company that does ingame, and intergame chat as well as Sony. I have played many games, from SOE, NCSoft, Blizztard (1), Turbine, Linden Lab, Funcom. What is the over-riding complaint of mine towards most of them? The chat system is awful, unintuitive, not customizable, or just plain stupid, fucking stupid at times (see L2, no wonder they use vent, which is also awful). MxO aside (warner's chat) I have yet to play an SOE game that did not have a very good set of tools for talking to friends, guild members, spacial, tell, etc. Their chat systems are clean, easy to configure, and best of all intergame accessible. In a way almost like IRC brought to your MMO. Yep I am starting to feel like a company man.

    8. Short now really I need to sleep: Second Life. Call it an mmo, call it a platform. I have yet to meet a more creative bunch online. Shame they opened registration for unverified free accounts. The influx of minors and griefers who come in, ruin your day, then cancel their accounts before they have been disaplined by LL staff a month later is a shame. My born on date is 6.6.04. You used to be able to summon help for griefing within 30 minutes, now it takes 30 days. Still a good platform, but no longr worth the title of game since the staff no longer cares due to their free growth, gowth mind you that has not lead to more subs, but has led to more LL exchange from the people who have been there the longest. Add their latest moves, brought on by law enforcement from germany and the US. Good luck LL. .

    9. Lineage 2 - A complete dinosaur of what many people on here like to call the South Korean grind. I agree the game is a complete clusterfuck of a grind, but not unenjoyable with a good clan/guild. The chat system is hell. Any self respecting guild uses vent exclusively. I was luck to meet up with one of these groups amoung the plethora of bots engaged in the game. The economy is completely out of whack, and the non-US population on North American servers outnumbers North Americans 2:1. So why is this in my best list? Because overall, for three months, I had a blast with m8's from North America, Europe, and Australia. There *are* good people to be met here who are more than willing to help you grind, lend equipment, essentially circumventing the need for MMORPG credit adds. The art direction is really well done considering the root date of the game (I assume 2002 in SK, could google it, don't care). Moreover gameplay is so simple that questing doesn't matter. Kill Kill Kill, Kill somemore. Kill Kill Kill. Sit, regen rince repeat. The best mind numbing, time killing, world ignoring, intellectually massacring game I have ever played, and never plan to play again as long as I live. What can I say? I had 4 useful skills. It was so easy to stare at my elf's arse as she cast, while I talked to people from all over the world. It was fun for 1.2 seconds of my life, and i don't regret it.

    10. Let's hope something happens soon, because I am losing patience...

Worst! In short (yeah right, short)....

    1. Neocron II - Hi ass, welcome to Neocron. We have a great concept, and player apartments!! But guess what, you are on your own. You could google all this stuff, or even use our forums (in which no one posts), to get a basic guide on how this place functions! Did i mention we have half nude, badly rendered females?!! - I killed sewer rats for a week. Never saw another living soul. Other than the one that killed me in one shot. Yep, I got totally pwnd!!!11!!. Good business plan...

    2. SWG: NGE - The wreck of 2 years ago is well documented. 34 professions to 9. Inability to change profession without millions of credits (by times end). Economy inflating due to limited top end items (requiring grinding). Removal of years of work for both crafters and Jedi (which became a starter class (note: I was never a Jedi grinder in 3 years of play)), looted items overshadowed al crafted items by a street, combat became a turn-based fps (see Tabula), most anyone with self respect, who purchased the expansion, not knowing the change was imminent, left for good. Some of the core is still the there, but with each and every chapter, something is nerfed, fixed (intentional), or even added that requires more grinding to meet your specific goals. The game has improved (since the NGE, but not from before), but SOE has no idea where to take it. The changes and additions to this point are so random, that it makes the game confusing, but not complex. I don't really know what to say about it now. The continue to give people toys to play with, but have never addressed the root loss in the game since 11/05. The game will continue to change drastically every three months for the rest of time I am sure, but the systems introduced are little more than band-aids over the rest of the universe. I miss the game really, but not enough to grind stupidity (AI) for 40 hours simply to get a buff that lasts 30 secs. Sure, that might be the greatest 30 secs of pwnzorship I ever experienced, but honestly, that was never most of out goals in this game. Oh, did I say fuck you SOE (sorry).

    3. There - My god. Please shoot me. Free, minus $3 for the surf board for 2 days, or $5 to wear a unique t-shirt for 2 days.

    No.

    4. The sims online - done.

    5. DnL - I was lucky enough to have never entered an avatar in this world, but I think the facts speak for themselves. I think the posts speak for themselves. This was a train-wreck led by an ego-maniacal idiot who fancied himself a cult or personality. To make matters worse their billing company (policy) was to harrass those that canceled into paying more money, and giving those that joined no way to leave. This was a racket. & speaking of ego-maniacal idiots who fancies themselves a cult of personality:

    6. Vanguard - I have never seen a game that failed so completely, followed by a mindless bunch of undead trolls than I saw with Vanguard. Really, it was sick. I get sick even thinking about it. The only reason this is not #5 is because they actually had systems in place that worked. DnL was not so lucky. BUT this game is like Vista. It is bloated, It is half functional, and it is filled to the sky with bugs, both game based and hardware based. It can't even live up to it's minimum specs (upon launch). This should have never been release to the public, especially for $50. This, DnL, and Trials of Obi-Wan are by, and far, the biggest rip-offs this industry has seen, and we wonder why so many people play Blizzard's MMO? SOE appears to be improving the game, but that will not make me wish to install 18Gigs of lag on my MBP with BC. It's just not going to happen. Hopefully this will be the last game we see under the name sigil.

    7. MxO - Dear god what a letdown at launch. You know, the game has improved, the animations have improved (in response time), the community is top notch. The dev team, even now, is actually quite engaged and friendly. The grind however is enourmous, time consuming, and repetitive, and is unfortunately all the game is in the long run. The cityscape is great. The graphics are well done, unfortunately depth is something you have to plan in developement, it is not something that can be added later. Plus, the city is dead...

    8. Ranarok Online - Opps...

    9. Ran Online - Shoot me again Mr. Deville.

    10. WWII Online - Battlefield Europe: I don't want to be too hard on this game. The player community is pretty tight knit, but this is the one game that requires too much grouping at it's core. There are not enough players to warrent a wwii setting, and yet there are no npc's (that I saw) to make up for them. I walked around for days, like a paratrooper that somehow floated to the arctic circle when I should have landed in France! This was too much of a David Bowie moment for me to care to ever return too. The graphics were not that good, but honestly, what do graphics mean in a good fps if people actually show up? I loaded up Q3F a few days ago, and captured all of 10 flags by my lonesome because no one cared to log on to stop me. Strangely, this felt like wwii without the lag?

Played (more than a month): SWG, Second Life, Tabula Rasa, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, EvE, MxO, Ryzom.

Tried: WoW, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Everquest, WWII Online, Planetside

    Beta: Lotro, Tabula Rasa, WAR.

You're angry at SWG, yeah me too. Vanguard was a bust, blame Brad for being an idiot. EQ2 and EQ1 are failures *only* on competition with Blizzard. There is no mmo developer on the planet that wouldn't give their left arm for the same sub count.

Played (more than a month): SWG, Second Life, Tabula Rasa, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, EvE, MxO, Ryzom.

Tried: WoW, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Everquest, WWII Online, Planetside

    Beta: Lotro, Tabula Rasa, WAR.

How the hell are you idiots even thinking about EVE for a list of the biggest flops? It doesn't matter if you like the game or not, it was developed on a shoestring budget by a startup company with little to no experience and limited staff, and it's in the top tier of MMOGs. It's the poster child for small-company MMOG success.

    1. Dark and Light.... OMFG, it is funny, this game should be shut down, i mean i remember before launch, the screen shots and movies looked great,  Content looked to be awesome, Then logged in and the GFX were a mere knotch above Anarchy online. The Leveling XP was horible, and there were maybe 12 quests and 2 of them worked. I would be surprised if anyone played anymore. The billing was laughable, i Email support stating to have the account cancled, they replied that my account would be switched to a Freedom account so that i could come back at anytime to check out the game, they then tried to charge me for the transfer... Lol, this went on for months with them trien to get me to pay, i finnaly  told them i'd sue if they cept it up, next got an email stating 0 balance remaining.

    2. I will go with..... SWG-NGE... This was to be honest a kick tio the nuts, how on earth can you think that switching the combat system 2 weeks after an expansion release was a good idea?  Lame and really weak, it was funny on how the expansion was totaly compatible with the NGE, so they musta brewed it up some months after the CU was released and Subscriptions didn't hit high enough marks.  Hopefully Developers and SOE will start getting a clue, once you make a game, it's made, you can do everything to fix it and make it better, but when you change the core system to try and attract new customers,  your gonna loose more than you'll ever gain.

    3. yeah i'll get some crap for this, would have to be EvE. I love Space oriented games, and the mouse controlls just didn't suit me, nor did the lack of direction and very poor player base.

    4. Vanguard- had promise, just didn't deliver, though i knew going in it was going to be a bumpy ride, as a lot of the content was stated to be held off till after launch, just didn't expect so many bugs and lack of quests that you could actually do, yeah i know they were supposed to be group quests, but when there is no one to group with.....

    5. RF online..... uh whats this game about.... seriousely, i played for the trial period and never got an anser...

    6.  Guild Wars.   Looked nice, some of the stories was ok, but got a little boring, only had 8 speacials, and usualy there were 6 certain ones you just had to use all the time, so that game lost it's flavor.

    7. Last... i can't do 10 cause i haven't even played 10 mmo's, WoW... I know i played for about 6 months, actually 4, but the last 2 months my wanting to play dwindled and after having one lvl 60 and a lvl 40... i just lost all conection with the game. And for gods sake, Blizzard cries about Credit Farmers, yet all the good stuff in game costs an arm and a leg, Even lvl 40 mounts are high priced, and you basicly have to work your butt of to get one, i myself do not feel the need to WORK in a game, a game is for fun, not more work. Yes i know, there should be some challenge and risk and reward type deal, in this game your either Buying gold just to make it bareable, or you yourself is Farming... either be it faction or just some random loot to try and sell just to by a lame horse... don't get me started on Armor sets...

    1. World of Warcraft - ( It's a terrible game that's actually got an existing player base )

    2. Star Wars Galaxies NGE ( Terrible game but is second because the player base is extremely tiny )

    3. City of Heroes/Villains - ( Pointless Grind, I mean, really pointless, the only incentives there are to grind are these enchancements which are basically just frigging icons )

    4. Anarchy Online - ( WTF's wrong with elves?! It's as if they're trying to make it out as if they're one of the crowd by using this kind of advertisement )

    5. Guild Wars - ( Can't say I've played it but it sure as hell shouldn't even be listed as an MMORPG which is why I didn't play it in the first place -_- )

    6. RF Online -This game had so much so much bloody potential with its art and music that it pisses me off! Why did it have to be turned into a sodding grind game?!

    7. Flyff - This game was okay but again, ruined a huge load of potential by just turning it into a grind fest and nothing more

    8. Rappelz - Again! Just a complete huge grind fest, I can't understand why people actually find these games fun but what's worse is they have to reduce a game with such potential to just grinding.

    9. The Saga of Ryzom - Now don't get me wrong, this game is pretty good, but I thought I'd put it here because of the way it seems to be falling apart, not only that though, why the hell can't we even jump or go past borders? As a person who played Pre-Cu SWG I found it really limiting to be blocked by invisible walls everywhere I went because I couldn't jump, otherwise it could have been a great game for me.

    10. EVE Online, I found this game totally fun at first, but when I realized that I actually had to take it 'seriously' not just fun serious, but serious serious, having to do things like take character selection screenshots to prove that I wasn't a spy, that kind of stuff is going a bit too far for me. I didn't like the fact that I couldn't skill up on my own accord but had to 'wait' for a certain amount of time before I could get my skills up, again I thought the offline system was cool but as a Pre-Cu SWG player I felt really limited by it. The slow paced combat was also a bit of a let down for me, I thought it was fun at first but then you just get bored because the battles were too predictable, something like Freelancer's speed would have been okay, but the way the ships moved like bricks being shoved was just strangely awkward.

Quoting people doesn't make you clever, in fact, it makes you all the more stupid for not bothering to read the quotes you post in the first place.

Agree with that list pretty much..except I wouldn't put WoW in there at all and I'd put Vanguard at no. 2 at least and add Dark and Light somewhere in there. Never played Dark & Light but heard all these nightmare stories about its launch which is apparently even worse then Vanguard's. WoW isn't original and doesn't care but it beats about 99% of the crap out there at the moment.
