I really hope it's a polished , finished product. I hope and pray it doesn't get an early release which would surely cripple it's long term player base. Now of course I don't write the cheques over there at Funcom and I'd imagine the pressure would get progressively greater and greater but look at the long list of good or even great games that killed themselves with early release.
I mean if Conan wasn't released for 12 months god forbid, if it's a finished product it'll rock, one thing AoC has never lacked is potential, and the ideas, innovation, and damn if it doesn't look good.

We all hope it is polished and finished but this will likely not be completely true. As we all know MMORPGs are works in progress, and while it may have nice polish on it, there will still be bugs, there will still be glitches, and they will have to correct these problems as fast as possible. And an MMORPG will never be finished because there will always be something to do. Again, we all would like to see the best possible product upon launch as possible, nobody likes throwing around hard earned money for something they didn't want.
Have also big expectation to aoc! and hope that it will be as much funcom says

The big issues need to be ironed out, I think we all expect some bugs, quest issues, things like that, but the fundamental gameplay NEEDS to be taken care of in advance.
not just aoc, no game should release early with errors and stuff, id rather wait and enjoy the game rather then start soon and hate it
It is and will always remain an impossible endeavor to eliminate all errors from a piece of software as large as a game, trying to do so before launch will waste the developing company's time and money over a period of many years. The best you can hope for is to reach launch day having eliminated all game breaking errors, and reduced the minor bugs to an absolute minimum.
No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
