Well, the name actually comes from a guild that's been around for more than a decade in text-based MUDS; mostly Diku ROM-based ones. I'm actually hoping to get a few of the ex-Furies from that area to join GuildWars, being that it is competative and has no monthly fees. You know pkillers are cheap, right?
On the page, there's an application you can fill out if you are interested in being a member. Also, under the Contact Us page, you can post if you want to be an ally/enemy, or just provide some feedback. Really the object is not so much to be the "biggest and badest" so much as it is to be comfortably powerful. Basically, win more than we lose, and try to have a helpful but competative atmosphere.
