Hey guys,
Right. Been playing MMO's since OU and since then they've always been my favourite sort of game by far. However, after grinding through DAoC, CoH, WoW, Archlord, LOTRO etc... I never thought I'd say it but I'm becoming very bored with the whole "pick a class, grind quests till lvl 50" sort of style of MMO... which is all you seem to get nowadays. Even LOTRO I got my LM to lvl 48 can couldn't be bothered going the last two lvl's as I couldn't see the point.
With the exception of WoW (purely because I played along side so many of my RL friends and such a laugh) SWG and OU or the only 2 games with a different edge. SWG was my favourite ever by far despite having so many problems at the same time. I hear the combat sytem change completely ruined it too... so not going back there. Then I looked at OU again which still seems to be going strong.
I know there's a free 14 day trial on the go. So I am going to give it a shot but I'm hoping someone can give me a brief lowdown on it.
1. How much has the game changed since I played 7-8 years ago?I know the graphics have changed a lot. More mean the pvp system and stuff.
2. Is there any place to still buy a house? I rememer when I played years ago and even then there was no room to buy a house, wondering if anything was done about it.
3. Is there any place for me? I like to have a bit of an impact the world if you know what I mean, that's what MMO games are all about IMO.... and I'm always out to have the best of the best equipment. But, saying as there are players that have maybe been around for a decade, are the values of items so high that I won't be a part of that market for a long long time?
Got a few other Q's but I'm just about to finish work so I'm out the door. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps me out =o)

Im sorry what is OU?
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
