Yup, I hate it.
That's funny, i just played it, and on the very first screen that pops up, it says that i should use wasd to move around, and lo and behold! wasd worked!
So no, it's not a point and click game. I'm not saying it's good, but it has the movement right (my personal preference.. i like wasd)

Yep, I'm just cleaning the cream off my pants. AOA is a WASD movement system. And get this, you can actually assign your own key mapping. I think they are actually listening to players for a change.
