Can't download patches

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this kind of question, but I figured I had a better chance of getting help here than from Station.
I just bought EQ2, and set up my account. I can log in fine, but when the LaunchPad tries to download patches, it suddenly stops with a "Download Cancelled" message. This is on an Athlon processor running Vista.
Has anyone seen this problem before? What should I do about it?

Welcome to the world of Vista.
You need to right click on the shortcut and select run as administrator. The new security features in Vista are interfering with the patcher.
Ah, okay. After I posted, I decided to check the Station forums after all, and I saw it mentioned there. Seems to be working now. Thanks!
