Shaman or Priest. Which is the better Soloer

  I think the Shaman is better for soloing by what I've read priest can be weak for soloing. I also like Shaman for the totems those are cool . Priest are I think meant for groups mainly not for soloing. And since the Shaman can heal, resurrect, totems, and i like the spells i saw on worldofwarcraft.com .The Priest though has good buffs and stuff like that so I think the Shaman is best for soloing. Though you might want to check out the Warlock it looks like a good spell caster since it does have pets but I'm too lazy to look at its spells. But thats just what I think I'm not sure since I dont have beta lol.

  i think it mostly depends on how much action your going to get into. if you really like to battle and get damaged a lot then i guess the priest would be a good choice, but ive heard the priest is one of the most sought out for a group for its healing and resurrect abilities.  although the shaman has some healing he also has some great buffs and can turn into a wolf for combat and travel. so overall id have to go with the shaman as a better soloer.

  I think the real question would be at what lvl the shaman and priest are at. At certain lvl's you might say one is better than the other. New skills bring hidden powers, I also think it would depend on what creature you are fighting. Also the items you have equiped on both chars. But for equal sake we will say they are equal in stats and equipment. In my opinion I would go with the shaman. Even though I have herd that a priest can beat warriors and rogues equal to its lvl.

  So they are both good, but i think the shaman is overpowered right now so thats who im going with.

  I think you might wanna look at the warlock lol....i don't think allance can have shamans and if you go horde I woold look at the warlock

  Shaman will be better, hands down! For these reasons.

  1-They can summon

  2-Later on around level 40, they can wear chainmail instead of leather.

  3-They can heal and damage

  4-On top of summoning they can have 2 summons.

  I havn't read alot about mages, but from what i have heard its obvious warlock will be better.....Oh, heh. It's Shaman and priest. In that case I don't know anything about those classes sorry. But you guys now know what i think about these two.
