Yes the pre-order gets you in to the beta when done through the NCSoft website. There is a thread on here that goes into great detail explaining the process if you need more information.
The release date has not been changed, but as all release dates are...still subject to change.

With the launch date if we already pre ordered the game does that mean the game client will be upgraded and we just pay the first month fee? or do we need to pay like 50 dollars for a CD version from gamestop? Cause if we get to play 3 days before launch how exactly are we going to dothat if the games h avent been sold yet in the stores? I'm somewhat confused on this?
um you can download/play downloadable the client.. dont need cd's
