PLEASE SOE MAKE A CLASSIC EQ SERVER. Shadow of luclin was a prick in EQs side. PoP Was a gun to the face.
If you are looking for advice on a game at this sight they you are looking at the wrong place!! 99% of these people are very biased. I dare you to go into any of the games forums.. and take a look what people have to say.. every single game has a group of people saying it sucks don't buy it, it's terrible aahhhhh. ...... if you go by what people say on these fourms you wouldn't buy any mmorpg at all.
The best advice I can give you is to go take a look at the numerous webpages dedicated to the game and how to play it, and the gamefaqs and decide on your own if that's your style of game. The game itself is a solid game, completely bug free, but might not appeal to everybody. No game will ever appeal to everybody.. there are some people who really hate Diablo/warcraft... as apposed to the millions who do like those 2 games.. You should not ever! listen to people on these forums.. make your own judgement on what your style of a game is.. After all you are the best person to do that.
FFXI can be bought anywhere you can buy computer games.. wal-mart, zellers, futureshop, staples, london drugs, ebgames, gamestop.. the hundreds of computer stores around NA..
if they don't have it in stock they can get it within 3 days.

... What does that mean? I played EQ for 7 years and had 7 top 50 characters on Brell Serilis before PoP, when Sony came in and screwed the game up royally ...
I would agree that you should always pay attention to what you think about a game versus other people. The only exception I ever make is like right now, when WoW is only a few months away and there isn't anything else to play that I like, so I go with my buddies
... That decision is up to you though bud, take your pick and if it is something you enjoy playing it won't be wasting money. Enjoy~

Wow... it STILL isn't out in the UK yet?
Anyways, if it really isn't out in the UK yet then I could bet that when it is released there, it will be when Chains of Promathia expansion comes out here in the US.
