hmm, hard choice between EQ2 and LoTRO, both are beautiful. Vanguard has some nice graphics but it is overall way to "plastic" looking and to really enjoy the graphics requires game setting that kill performance.

I've played eq2 for several years, and lotro for a few months. Vanguard for like 10 minutes....
Lotro has by far the best graphics in any mmo I've seen so far! EQ2 had nice graphics, yes, but LOTRO managed to create an even more visually stunning world. I actually left vanguard after 10 minutes after PAYING the subscription... I couldnt stand the visual feel and presentation of the game. It ran terribly on anything above mediocre settings. Even the slides I got to see on the highest settings didnt really look good in my opinion, but of course it was only the starting area. But if you wanna get people hooked, I dont see why you wouldnt make the starting area pretty dazzling!
Of course, now I dont play any of them - Im waiting for Pirates of the Burning Sea, all the while I'm playing BF2142
Why do I not see maplestory on that list? would be quite clear which wins if it was up there...
Agreed. Maplestory wins hands down.
Having played all three and looked at screenshots taken by others, I'd definitely say LotRO. It looks amazing at high settings. Although I'm not overly impressed with the avatars and their animations. Some random googled pics of LotRO: Screenshots.
VG ftw, considering that it is remarkable AND seamless AND you can go wherever you can see, like the top of a mountain. You can't do that in EQ2 or LOtRO. And to whoever makes comments saying that their comps can't handle the graphics, that wasn't the question. Crank them all the way up on top of a mountain overlooking a sunset, THEN tell me that anything else looks better.
While I prefer LoTRO graphics overall, EQ2 is pretty and has nice water effects. Vanguard however gets my vote, as when you were ballsy enough to put the graphics on max and take a look at the environment it was amazing.
I just prefer LoTRO less realistic graphics though.
They would all still be crappy if you have a low specs comp~~ So it also depends on your processor, graphics cards, etc etc to support and to maximise for best graphics

I've only seen screenshots of Vangaurd but it seems lotro is visually the most impressive.

Granado Espada beats those graphics.
Have to go with everquest 2 on this one, but LOTRO comes very close.
I don't think any of them are great, but LOTRO is probably the best. Vanguard has the best customization for character appearance.

Imo, that award definitly goes to Granado Espada. Good from a technical standpoint, and looks great from an artistic stand point.
