Which do u think is the best race? and which the best class? Its all up to you...... ok maybe not but its your opinion

Well hard to say what the "Best" race/class is cuz the game is still in beta and they will continue to change even thru retail... but If I had to take a guess...
For PvP = Undead/Mage
For PvE = thats a tough one cuz they are all capable of soloing PvE so I couldnt chose a best PvE...
Of course one persons "best" opinion doesnt mean its true btw =P

I think a Tauren Shaman is the most powerful player in the game. I think they could defeat a mage, warrior, rogue, ect. ect. I have read on alot of the WOW fourms that the shamans are owning right now. But who knows in a few days they could be the worst class. You just never know.
I still think palladins rule all

The owning class will obviosly not be an owning class in the near future. Especailly once they implement the resistances and stuff. Once they do, melee owns all over those mages.
Ya, once a warrior can have resistances against the mages he is going to rip them apart

I think the classes will be very close when it come to defending themselves, but the real question is who will be the best offensive powerhouse. I dont think they will stand out that much, but enouph to know whos boss

Yeah i agree once magic resists are in game it will be a whole new ball game. Which is why my first char ill be play testing is a warrior =P. To me I think warriors should be the DPS powerhouses cuz well... they are one of the classes that cant heal themselves and they dont really have anything that defines them... IE Rouges get stealth... paladins can heal...Hunters get pets...what do warriors get? a big slap on the back as the leader of the group tosses the warrior into the frey only to "Tank"?

there is no best race or class . they are all ballanced out with strengths and weaknesses.. if there was a best race / class everyone would play that class and the game would suck !
my advice is to pick the class you want to play rather than playing a class that you think will be be the best only to discover you dont like it.. there are 8 character slots so plenty of things to test out.

I will probably also play a warlock. From what I have heard they are supposed to be the closest to necromancers from Diablo II.
I'm not saying they are the best. Accroding to testers, the warlock still has much to be desired. I think the warlock has the potential to be the strongest class by release with the right tweaks.
The warrior class will also be strong in my opinion.
As for races, I really can't see one that surpasses the others to any great degree. Each has its advantages and disadvantages as far as I can tell. There will probably be a widespread consensus that Night Elves are the best, due simply to the fact that there will be more of them than anyone else. (But we all know this doesn't make it so

as for the races, even though NE are my favorite, i'd have to say that humans have by far the most useful racial trait.
there is no one best class, it depends on your play style, or prefrence. at the moment, i like the rouges cause o their stealth and dps mastery, and the warlocks cause they're so fit for anything, and they get the nightmare and infernos, but in a few months i might be equally interested in a priest or mage class, who knows?

There's no best classes of best races
you pick the race and the class you like and the story end.

Yeah your right there shouldn't be and you would think with all the time blizzard is taking to make the game they would at least have it balanced
. If your a level 50 orc warrior facing a level 50 human warrior its not only the armor items ect. Its the guy who your facing and if they know how to use all skills and stuff the class has.

That is not entirely true. There are warriors out there just as capable of killing a mage/priest as a mage/priest is for killing melee. You need to know how to play the class. You can root a warrior all you want, but if they have a bow or a gun your in for a hurting. Not to mention potions of free will that make you immune to root/snare/stuns and the like for a brief time.
And once everyone gets resists that work right, with alchemy your going to bump up your resists even more to spells like sleep and hold.
It maybe a rock/paper/scissor type PvP they have, but on any given day anyone can beat anyone if you know how to play your character right.
