Beastlord go bye-bye??

Why have they thrown out the Beastlord?  Are they saving it for an upcoming expansion or what?  I think you should be able to control more than one pet though.  Like have a ground pet, and an air based pet like a Wolf and a Flacon, or Bear, and Raven.  Just a thought.  Any input?

    It's a bit more complex than just adding in a beastlord.  They would need their own branch of a tree and the 2 subclasses with one good/order beastlord and then one evil/chaotic beastlord.  So as the trees are now there wouldnt exactly be a spot for htem to fit well so its probably better to leave them out and add them in as an expansion.

    There are no Beastlords in EQ2 and nver will be.

    Beastlords are a really cool class to play. I do wonder why they are not in EQ2 and I'd really like to see the lore about how the skill to tame animals was lost. And though I do like the 'powerleveling on the moon' reason, I think the lore should be given.

    didnt the vahshir all die in the tragic explosion meant to wipe out the moon that was created on the expansions that should have never been??

    It is my understanding that the Vah Shir was just one village of the Kerra race. So only those on the moon had animal control? That's kind of a lame story arc to take.

    But Basinreg, you are probably right and that's all the story I'll get.

    the Kitties are live and well in EQ2.. there are dozens of Screen shots of them.

    Got Heros? No.. How about Heroes?

    heheh, just goes to show u. 16 races and 40 classes (oops!). any race can be any class. still not enough for some ppl. im thrilled with the customization in EQ2 so far from what ive seen.

    lol 16 races and 40 classes.... anyways, the kerrans and vah shir are the same thing. in a fight with the erudites there was a magical explosion and a whole village of kerrans were sent to the moon and started a new village there, and named themselves vah shir. that is all that happened. now losing the ability to tame, im sure they can come up with a valid reason, maybe the animals are to vicious now or over the years they lost the knowledge that was handed down generation to generation. who knows, but it may come into play in a later expansion you never know.

    The reason is that they wanted to prevent twinking and powerleveling. These things have all been discussed to death on some fansite you've never heard of, so don't you dare question things. This game isn't for you, it's for the 10's of fanbois own amusement.

    As mentioned, there would have to be a evil and good to the Beastlord class. So, wouldn't that really be the same thing as the Necro and Magician? I believe so, except for wardens instead of summoned elementals or undead.

    Though, they could make them a neutral class. I don't see any harm in it. But, I really don't think we need em'. ::::24::

    No mages and necros where totally different. Mages and Necros used Int and where caster classes while BLs where Char based and leaned a bit more towards melee then the casters where also necros and mages summoned while BLs tamed. Completly different aspects if you ask me

    Some metioned the Vah shir are did, that's why there is no beastlord now. But what happened to the Troll, and Iksar beastlords?

    Someone also stated that the kitties are live and well, No, The Vah Shir are dead! The Kerra from Kerra isle near Odin are alive and well. Only similiar races, Vah Shir were Kerras that moved on. Read your lore! image
