Private World???

in Aion

Hey just wondering if this will be like Guild Wars when you goto and explorable area you get your own private area to hunt in and do quests etc? I haven't seen any vids of 2 people jsut running past each other in explorable areas, I know its in BETA and not a lot of people will be running about and what not but I was just wondering.

 

Also, I know if you can't see others hunting you will probably be able to take a party out and hunt the same monsters and what not. But do you not think it wold be better if you could see others hunting? I prefer that?

 

Anyone know or able to share anything about this?

 

Sorry if this has been brung up, can't find it anywhere though.

    From what I played at E3 2006, this game is not instanced.  I saw (and crushed!) many other E3 playtesters :)

    good stuff, so are you free just to pick fights with other players on the opposing force on your travels???

    i saw in an interview video them mentioning stuff about instances in the game but not being a major part of it and that leveling is mostly in open areas

    From an interview I read a while back they said that the game will be 90% non-instanced.

    yea i heard that too    

    which i hope they keep it like that, i like to be in open area's with people, although hopefully mob spawn is fast-ish and many different spots with mobs for people to level without having others farming in same area

    this game needs to come out. i'm tired of all the other "crap" on the market and need something with a somewhat original idea.

    Load up Vampire Bloodlines or Half Life 2. I never get tired of those games.

    Also demos for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is out, Metal of Honor Airborne and Two Worlds...all have demos right now. World in Conflict is coming next month also. Lots of other genre good stuff out there. I did Airborne this weekend and it was pretty good.

    This game definantly does look fun, but I'm enjoying Lord of the Rings Online right now...Can't wait for the player housing update :)

    Not the entire game is instanced, no, but as far as I know, there some instanced areas in the game.
