Lunia

So recently I brought myself to stumble on a new MMO to play, and having no wells of money to get one of the more prestigious titles, I found Lunia. It was actually higher up there with some of the better games I have played, and for good reason. A free-to-play action RPG, these people are not afraid to innovative, which makes for a real enjoyable gaming experience, while at the same time making it easier for newer players to know what to do. No more hard to reach training spots, no more traversing across worlds that at times can seem like wasteful dumps of pixels and collision detection, and no PK's.

Boasting modest cell-shaded characters, and animeish cutscenes, the system requirements can be pretty shallow, so it can be played fluidly by most breeds of gamers (With an ATI Radeon 9250, and 256 RAM, I can play on the second highest setting). The cell shading is a not a cut-back whatsoever, it makes environments, objects, and people easier to distinguish than more in-depth shading, and I do prefer the more upbeat cartoony feel to it.

Getting to gameplay, which Action/Arcade RPG may sound profound, foreign even. Lunia works in a series of levels called 'stages', these stages are like playfields, if somebody is hosting a game before a certain point in the stage, usually before breaking a conspicuous barrier, you will be able to join it as long as this barrier isn't broken. And like an arcade game, at these stages are played through, there awaits a hard boss that you cannot just hack and slash through. (unless you have drastically outleveled the stage) They take a lot of teamwork and tactics to win without incident, but this usually doesn't happen, and people use up the 2 lives they were granted for the stage.

Lunia only has one town called a square, it is a central point from which you purchase items, upgrade weapons and armor, appraise items, craft, etc. As well as join stages and the PvP arena. I would say the PvP system is not the best it could be, but it is simplistic and it works. Currently, you designate a level and how many people you want to play, and it will automatically search for PvP willing adventurers with similar expectations.

The Stat and Skill systems are simple, stats are added automatically depending on you class, (Knight, Healer, Mage) and a skill point is given on every level up, as well as a bonus on every fourth, that can be used to learn new skills that you can use, or upgrade those already learned.

The battle systems works like an arcade game as well, with button mashing. I'm not saying your going to break some keys, but if you want to play this, get some stamina. In combat you get an almost birds eye view of the battle. You attack creating combos from pressing combinations of the A,S, and Space keys, but the keys on their own have their own signifigance, and the 1-0 keys as they can be assigned to skills and attacks.

A: Basic attack

S: Special/Combo attack

Space: Down attack

I would say the censorship system needs some work, but other than that, a very well made RPG, get it now at http://www.global.lunia.com

dude, its freaking Lunia. Stop spamming other people's forum just because you want some free item in Lunia. Its against the rules to keep creating new accounts.

There is no reason to bother other people just because you want an item.

The payment of an item as it may be, may I not still spread the word of a game I enjoy playing? As if your opinion is the point of view of everyone? And just because something may be involved, that is not my only motive of my actions.

And are you insinuating that I have a multi? I just made this account to spread the word of a game, and because other people have relevant topics your prejudice reaches out to me with different aspirations of the discussed individual?

    I frown at your logic.

There is a difference between spreading the word and creating new accounts just to spam the same message over and over.

You have been creating new accounts and keep writing these short "reviews" for a contest in Lunia, stop acting like you don't know what I'm talking about. You have been creating these accounts since yesterday.

You can't just assume about the background of a new user. I have no idea who you are talking about, and this is my only account. If you cannot see the good in the statement that a person provided, and only highlight the bad, I could care less if the mods ban me with their false assumptions, if this community can be represented in such a way.
