I really want to play in the Fury challenge but my pc gets crushed when I try. I'm waiting for the performance improvements coming in the next couple weeks...

its a bumpy start. Their ladder system was messed up so the first weekend probably didnt go as planned, a few changes also made a few archtypes more popular than others and vortex is hardly played, it not at all. The games seem to revolve around melee favored bloodbath and elimination. If you are not in a Pre-made, the chances of success are down to nada usually.
Currently, players are keeping the gear low tier to allow for the use of high rank abilities, which pretty much dominate in most senarios.
Right on... How is the turnout? Does it seem like there are a lot of people playing? Are the queue times long?
eh, hard to say. There are 3 servers running, one is packed the other two are around medium level. The queues are long only if you have a premade group or guild group usually. For some reason it just takes longer. I was in an estimated 1 minute queue for over 10 minutes just because i was grouped with a few more people. Vortex is not played much at all sadly, as its the most fun. So Q-ing for that is a waste of time. You can wait over 40 minutes and nothing will happen. Bloodbath is probably the quickest Q time, nearly instant.
A few guilds right now are pretty much dominating most people though, so dont hope for too much on the elimination front. Some of them are seen bloobath helping eachother out as well.
