Nubby question, is WAR: AoR a RTS RPG game? or a game like WoW?

Just wondering before I preorder it, Is it like WoW or a RTS like the other warhammers? <<Nooby question I know..
Played: WoW, EVE, EQ, DDO, LoTRO, RoM, FFXI, Guild Wars, WAR, RuneScape, 2029 Online.
Currently Playing: RoM.

It's an mmorpg. Not like the old Warhammer games.

Heh, I noticed no one had responded to the glib, trollish comment, and that the thread had died, and I was quite impressed, as it was great flame-bait. I was privately congratulating the forum for ignoring it and not "feeding the trolls."

No it's DAOC RVR style game play in a Warhammer setting. Nice trolling.

ROFL that was not a troll post.. honest, I am currently playing a certain beta of a game I cannot name and my opinion on WAR (which I am neither confirming or denying having any peronsal experience of via beta or other means) is WoW, its feels like WoW, looks like WoW, plays like WoW... but its PvP is not like WoW.
Ofc this is just my personal opinion and if you dont agree then ok.. but dismissing my opinion because I am not a raving WAR fanboi and I proudly sport a WoW sig is unfair.

Gotcha. In other words: WAR = WoW, but with different PvP. I can live with that. I'm sure WAR will be good clean fun.
I love the quest system... as I seen through all the videos... (not a beta tester... yet... lol)
If you kill a beast without the quest activated, you'll be rewarded as soon as you talk to the guy... no more -> Go kill more bear when you just wiped the entire map of thoses...
Can't wait either to see if it'll be worth it! And yes... it'll be like any mmo... like FFXI (lol) but with PvP/RvR!
