credit card not authorized issue

Yesterday my subscription did not renew due to my credit card "not being authorized" despite the fact that I've been a subscriber for the last 2 years. Apparently, there are many of us in the same situation and it's due to their supposedly "new security" against credit card fraud...well, whatever was done, you got it wrong...

I can understand that it might take a while to fix the issue, but the least you can do is address it in the public forums, and not in the dev chat sections which require us to log in to view! (big genius whoever thought of that one!) Yes, I understand the implications of placing it on the general forums for even potential subscribers to view, but don't you think they have a right to know that they might not be able to play the game once their trial is over?

Maybe a little bad press will get them to bring the issue into light.

    You mean how like they officially announced on the News Page 3 days ago, or how they have been talking about it with players for over a week?

    Seriously, stop whining and make a petition! I got caught by the billing system change over as well, but instead of having my subscription dropped, I got double billed for six months of subscription..! It takes less than a day to fix, what's the fuss?

    Uh, as I said, I can't read the news page to inform myself of the issue because I can't log in...that's what I was saying, I knew there was information on it.

    And again, as I mentioned in my original post, I was discussing the fact that there are many others like me (I guess I should have been more explicit in the fact) that have petitioned and have not received any answer in days).

    Anyways, this is my last post on the subject. I love EVE too much to stay angry...although they can make some really bad calls at times...
