In SWG is it true if you die your character is perm. deleted?

    NO your character can not die permanenty otherwise it would be pretty pointless to buy the game if you die once.... and it's over. You can become incapsitated where you wait a certain period of time and be revived naturally and have to heal yourself, but once you use all those incapsitations you will be sent to the nearest cloning center where you get cloned... So you die permantly, you just get cloned!

    lol rrrritttee...and this cloning...does it affect yoru stats at all..or is it really just "Reviving you at another location" seriously?

    When you die you suffer wounds and battle fatigue.  You'll have to go to a cantina and med center to get all that healed.

    Now, certains items will decay by 5% if they were uninsured when you die.  However, all cloning facilities have an insurance station inside them so you can insure them.  Any items that are insured on death will suffer 1% decay.

    New characters get 3 "free" deaths with no wounds/decay.

    Until you cancel your subscription, you are only helping to continue the cycle of mediocrity.

    When the game was originally relased Jedi characters were permanently killed (in that the character got reset to starting stats/equipment) after the 4th death (first 3 deaths are free of penalty for all characters) - however this was changed some time ago

    I suspect this is where your information originally came from

    No man. your character get cloned and sent to the nearest cloning factory.

    YOu can download the FREE trial for free from Fileplanet.com

    When the free trial is over, and you still want to play, you will have to buy it. But you get to keep the same character you used while you were playing for free.
