i got the close beta invite, DL the game, logged in and went to this shard screen nothing else happened now what do i do?

Why are you posting here? Don't they have a beta forum with tech support?
It's probably under an NDA anyway so you I would think you really can't speak much about it here.

How did you DL the cliant?? I cant even do that
yes MMORPG.com will give you a warning if you mention you got into the beta. In fact, they will give you a warning for saying you won the contest ON THEIR SITE which was for beta keys, even though the NAMES WERE ANNOUNCED.
So, if you win a beta key, like I did (yeah warn me again), they will send you nasty emails.
