I had a name of one once and I can't remember which sucks.image

Some im trying to find some through some search engines. Don't care if it's free or not. It just has to be good. Maybe we can all try to make 1337 graphics like in video games. So if i do find some interesting ones, i will post the links here and maybe you can do the same too.

I want to get ahead in the learning process for FULL SAIL.image

    Funny, it seems like you didn't Refresh your page in the last 16 min. (assuming). Also, you should have known I mean computer if you only read the intro to the topic . . .

    People are always trying be a smart a*s these days . . .and it hits them in the face at times too.

    oh....i feel so dumb....image oh well that didnt last long. it wasnt my fault you had a typo. i thought it was actually something real. ive learned not to be so quick since the day i found the word emulater on a site. i posted something really....uh.....er....ill just leave it at that.image

    ok, ill help you out on your computer quest. i had a compaq computer, it broke so i wouldnt get that. my friend has a mac, it sucks so i wouldnt get that, i have an emchaines windows xp jome edition and its pretty good. heres a poll and which ever one gets the most vote is the computer you should get

    I'm in basic design atm, what style are you looking for, 3D or 2D? I mean photoshop is the obvious choice for higher detail but you'll need a lower scale app that allows you to limit pallets and work with frames for sequencing. Or 3D? The best choice there is 3DS Max. Which is what I'm studying, I'm fluent in TrueSpace but unfortunatley it lacks the power and features of 3DS, as well as the fact that 3DS is considered an industry standard. Maya, Soft Image and LightWave are excellent as well, and Maya probably has the best animation controlers to date, But I highly recommend starting with 3DS max since any company you apply to for game design will find t an asset for you to know any of the others, but will require you to know Max. (Thats why I'm studying so hard now image).

    Heres a link to G-Max it's a cut down form of 3DS Max released by Discreet to use for modeling objects for games. The modeling engine is the same as in 3DS Max, but they remove some of the mapping, the plug ins and the rendering engines. But and excellent place to start for free.

    Also an excellent resource book is 3DS Max Bible 6, I ordered it from amazon for 35$ Outstanding source for refrence and learning.
